GBLoved everything about our stay , the apartment was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Bed was extremely comfortable location was amazing and the sea views were amazing. Honestly nothing bad to say about this place and we can’t wait to go back.
GBThe living area furnishings are lovely. A huge, deep sofa, massive tv and a couple of chairs, plus a coffee table. The kitchen was well equipped, but the lighting is inadequate. We couldn’t see the controls on the cooker. The bedrooms were small, but very comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean and showers were very good. Somewhere to put a couple of wash bags would have been appreciated All that said, we enjoyed our stay. Our dog loved the garden and the quality of everything in the apartment was excellent.
When we arrived it was a wet, dreary evening. Not allowed in before 4pm and by then it was already dusky. We struggled with the key safe because there is no lighting outside the apartment. We also weren’t aware beforehand the apartment is lower ground floor, so up 2 short flights of steps to the garden, then down 3 hugely deep steps to the apartment. If you struggle with mobility, think carefully before booking as there is no lighting, and no hand rail. Also if you value peace and quiet, it may not be the right apartment for you. Upstairs obviously has laminate flooring and the clomping of booted feet was intrusive (nothing to do with the owners, just inconsiderate renters. The tv is on the wall, quite high up and the sofa is so close you end up craning your neck back to see the picture. And the tv picture distorts because you are so close. If the sofa had been turned to face the view, with a smaller tv on a stand in a corner it would have been more pleasing (to us) The kitchen was well equipped, but the lighting is inadequate. GBThe apartment was lovely, high ceilings, large rooms, the main bedroom was very spacious. The views were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend and would look to return.
Parking was about half a mile away as it was a busy day but it wasn't a problem as we walked into town and got the train towards Whitstable.
