"Service issue. (Credit card issue)"

6.0

It was my birthday, so I came here to enjoy brunch. However, due to a staff mistake, I only received the brunch receipt and didn’t get my card back. When I got home, I discovered that an additional $399.60 had been charged to my friend’s card — such an unbelievable experience. Our brunch total was $78.84, and we even left more than a 20% tip, but the hotel’s response and handling of this issue have been absolutely terrible. The person in charge never contacted us, and even though they said the accounting team would take care of it, nothing has been done. Be careful, everyone.

"Second visit to this idyllic location"

10.0

After having a spectacular time here in the Spring we knew we had to come back in the Fall and enjoy the beautiful foliage as well! Even though the setting is stunning, what makes Wildflower Farms unique is the people there. My husband and I stayed in an amazing cabin with fantastic views of the "Gunks" mountain range and the surrounding area. The floor of the bathroom is heated which was a lovely surprise and the bath with the provided bath salts was ultra relaxing. There was also a basket of complementary local treats and beverages for us to enjoy. Clay and the attached Great Porch are always welcoming and something we looked forward to each day. Erica, Alora and Molly took such great care of us during our stay making sure we had everything we needed and Erica even made excellent wine recommendations. Hailey even remembered us from the Spring! One morning we went to feed the animals (donkeys, sheep, chickens) which was really fun! You could feed them pellets and hay while Jewel answered any questions that people had about the animals. We also did our first soundwbath which was truly amazing despite someone falling asleep and snoring loudly for 3/4 of the time!!! I was also able to get the spa Monastery facial which was one of the most relaxing facials I've had (Tapply was a very gifted aesthetician and gave me a lovely cup of tea at the end with a beautiful blue flower in it) which left me absolutely glowing! One evening we did the Botanical Mixology class which I highly recommend! We had done the class with gin in the Spring and this time was with bourbon. Both times we had Juan lead the class who is extraordinarily knowledgeable and keeps the class lively. It's a great opportunity to try new things and to meet some of the other guests! Finally, the people at the front desk are exceptional and thoughtful. Isabella and Melissa made our stay extra memorable with their thoughtfulness and kindness. Rae is truly a "ray" of sunshine! Also, if you get a chance, request the Harvest bag - it's gorgeous! The beautiful blue and brown eggs alone made it worth it but the tote also included gem lettuce, baby cauliflower, squash, beets and mini peppers - so nice to bring a bit of Wildflower Farms home with us!

"Above and beyond!"

10.0

The Wildflower Auberge is the ideal setting for a romantic weekend getaway. We were completely captivated by the stunning setting and the Auberge's blend of rustic charm and understated, luxurious comfort. The Auberge is perfectly situated, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hillsides (very much giving Amanagiri!). The foliage was almost about to peak so we picked a perfect weekend to go. The grounds are beautiful and very prviate - we really enjoyed exploring those together. It very much allowed us to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other. Our room was a private haven. Every detail was designed for intimacy and relaxation. The staff ensured our needs were not only met but went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday special, making us truly feel like the only two people in the world for the entire weekend. The dining experience completed the picture. The food is exquisite—focused on fresh, local ingredients—and the service allows for a slow, unhurried pace. It’s truly an effortless kind of luxury. For couples seeking an intimate and beautiful escape, the Wildflower Auberge is an absolute dream. We highly recommend booking a visit during the fall foliage season—it's truly unforgettable!

"Great long weekend experience"

10.0

My wife and I went for a long weekend. The place is a beautiful setting with amazing scenery, both at the resort and off into the distance. the cabin was very nicely furnished, very clean and had a great view off the back porch. The mountains during the day and the stars at night were awesome. There are trails to walk, a nice pool to swim in and a very nice spa.

"Deeply Disappointed — Unprofessional and Unwelcoming Experience at Wildflower Farms"

2.0

I am extremely disappointed with the way my guests and I were treated during our recent visit to Wildflower Farms. I have been here twice before and always enjoyed sitting on the Great Porch for drinks and lunch — relaxing on the couches and taking in the beautiful view. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different and shockingly unpleasant. We arrived from the parking lot behind another family and were told by the receptionist that the porch is first come, first serve. Since it was full at that moment, we were advised to check in with the restaurant to see what they could offer. At the restaurant, two women politely explained that the restaurant menu was closed until dinner but they could offer us seating at the bar or lounge with the Great Porch menu — which sounded perfectly fine. However, as I turned to confer with my group, a young woman wearing a bandana suddenly appeared and inserted herself in front of the two women we were speaking with. She asked if we were staying at the resort (we were not) and if we had a reservation (we did not). She then abruptly told us that they could not accommodate us because they were at capacity. This was completely baffling, as the lounge was empty and the bar had several open seats. When we pointed that out and said we would simply sit at the bar, she replied, “The bar is quite crowded,” which was simply untrue. We walked out, only to see that a table on the porch had just opened up. Since the porch is first come, first serve, we sat down. Moments later, the same young woman came outside and told us, “You misunderstood me — we cannot accommodate you anywhere.” We were stunned. Two staff members had already told us we could sit, yet she seemed determined to prevent us from enjoying ourselves. When we questioned her again, she offered a hollow apology. One of us asked, “Are you really sorry?” and her response was, “I don’t make enough to be sorry.” That statement was beyond unprofessional — it was insulting. To make matters worse, as we walked back to the reception desk, another party immediately sat down at the exact same table without issue. The receptionist once again confirmed that the porch is indeed first come, first serve, making the entire situation even more frustrating. For a property that has been named the #1 Resort in New York by Travel + Leisure (2025), this was a shockingly poor display of hospitality and communication. We were singled out and treated unfairly for no apparent reason, while others were welcomed without question. This experience ruined our afternoon and left a lasting negative impression. I’ve enjoyed Wildflower Farms in the past and recommended it to friends, but after this treatment, I will not be returning — and I certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone.
