"Wildflower Farms - Must Go!"

10.0

Wildflower Farms is a piece of quite luxury. I spent a night on a solo birthday trip to disconnect from life and reconnect with nature. The staff is so welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. The cabins are thoughtfully designed and have all the amenities you will ever need. Each meal I had was delicious, fresh and healthy. I really enjoyed the massage in the spa as well as the restorative yoga class. I highly recommended visiting Wildflower Farms. It's about a 2-hour drive from Manhattan and just far enough to feel like you are really escaping reality!

"Great getaway with luxe comforts and privacy"

10.0

Beautiful grounds with nice hiking, rooms very private and comfortable (they are all private cabins), staff was very helpful, including bringing in a desk that we requested to our room so we could do some work, even though we were there to relax... Great place to retreat to and get away from everyday obligations and concerns! Only negative was the massages were very much overpriced in the spa and some of the gym equipment was not top of the line.

"Wonderful getaway experience outside the city!"

10.0

Beautiful views and landscape, delicious dinner and breakfast, very kind and thoughtful staff, and lovely pool and spa area and trails for walking and hiking. Room was cozy and modern and had a great porch and was very quiet. We loved the fire pit and lounge areas around the property.

"Ok stay, not worth the money"

6.0

The place is nice, but honestly expecting much more at the 1K+/night price range. Room was a bit dirty, service was not personalized at all, and I was randomly charged (incorrectly) on multiple occasions. I had to track the team down to get this fixed, which is frankly ridiculous.

"not the romantic getaway we'd hoped for"

6.0

It's a lovely facility in the middle of nowhere. Great gym. Dinner was excellent, and we met some of the nicest service staff we've ever had at a high end resort. But it was easy to spend $120 on breakfast for two, and a $200+ pottery class got us a few moments of instruction with a group of 16 or so guests and crying kids. This is not the romantic getaway we'd hoped for; that's on us, just missed it was so kid-friendly. Lots of little things wrong, like coffee service being empty, or no cups, or cold... that you would be surprised by in a Hilton, much less in a place with such a high staff:guest ratio.

"A Memorable Anniversary Getaway with Exceptional Service"

10.0

We had the pleasure of spending our anniversary at this beautiful property, and from the moment we arrived, the customer service stood out as truly exceptional. Every team member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in creating a wonderful guest experience, and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks to the AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts program, we were able to upgrade to a Ridge Suite—and the suite was perfection: spacious, warmly decorated, and thoughtfully laid out. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, offering a peaceful retreat that we’ll absolutely be selecting again for future stays. The pool area had a lovely, relaxed vibe. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends, or family, it’s the kind of environment that adapts to your mood effortlessly. One note for fellow pet owners: if you're visiting during tick season, take extra precautions. We never stepped outside our unit with our dogs without picking up multiple ticks—on them and on us. This, of course, isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone planning a stay during tick season. We would have appreciated a heads-up, but not completely under the control of management clearly. That small inconvenience aside, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and we’re already looking forward to returning. This is a property that clearly values its guests and invests in creating memorable, high-quality stays. Highly recommend.

"Charming and luxurious, but overpriced for what it is"

8.0

We’ve stayed at Wildflower Farms twice, and while our second visit was much better than the first, I’m still not convinced the experience justifies the price tag. Like much of upstate New York, it’s undeniably beautiful, but also incredibly overpriced for what you actually get. On our first stay, the hotel was hosting a massive event, and the service suffered badly, slow, disorganized, and nowhere near what you'd expect from a property billing itself as high-end. To their credit, things improved noticeably the second time around. The staff was warm and more attentive, but still far from what you’d consider true five-star service. The setting is lovely and peaceful, and the design is clean and modern, but the hotel lacks the distinctive character and charm that other upstate properties manage to deliver so well. It feels polished but a bit generic. That said, this is as luxurious as it gets near the Catskills. The accommodations are comfortable, the grounds are serene, and it does have that elevated “escape the city” vibe. But for the rates they charge, I expected more in terms of service, personalization, and overall experience. In short: it’s a nice place to stay, and worth considering if you're set on something upscale in the area, but don’t expect the level of detail or value you'd find at similarly priced hotels elsewhere.

"Highly recommend"

10.0

Fantastic staff. Beautiful area. The spa had plenty of amenities and was extremely clean. The grounds at Wildflower, along with their natural beauty, are vigilantly well kept. And finally, the food at Clay is incredible, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"Incredible setting and fabulous food. A must place to visit."

10.0

Even in rainy weather Wildflower farms did not disappoint. What a beautiful property--quiet, quality, peaceful, amazing food. Would definitely return. If you go be sure to tour the farm and feed the animals in the morning, sit by the fire for breakfast and eat in the Clay dining room for dinner.
