"Welcoming atmosphere"

This is a convenient location in Midtown, in a classic refurbished Masonic Temple. Nice amenities and atmosphere, much nicer than comparable mid-priced hotels. A couple blocks from the busy popular main part of Midtown. Staff was professional and polite, adding greetings and conversation. There is a lobby-area computer station. All the lobby and eating areas are in the original 1920's style, or upgraded as appropriate. Good elevators, there is a private balcony for selected 6th floor rooms. The only drawback is limited parking due to meters and a Medical center nearby.

"Awesome stay!"

I was definitely a little suspect given some of the reviews on TA (motorcycle biker group?!?!?). However, I was really, really pleasantly surprised by what a great time we had! We were able to check in early (10:40am) by a super friendly staff member - and she upgraded us to a room with a kitchen. Score! Our room was on the third floor - which is a hall off from the Star Lounge. I brought ear plugs and the sound was not an issue for me. There was not much light - but we weren't in the room that much. The staff was great and remembered who we were - nice touch. The area was FABULOUS! So many walking distance restaurants, breweries, Farmers Market - street noise was not a problem either (the black out shades were the best I have ever had in a room.) Minor downsides but not dealmakers: 1. the bathroom door is a slider door. 2. breakfast food: definitely room for improvement but gets the job done for a quick bite. 3. Hallway light shines under door - night two we just put a towel by the door. I highly recommend the Fort Sutton Hotel restaurant two blocks away for breakfast or lunch. We did not use the hotel gym and tried out bootcamp at Fitness Rangers and F45. Great stay!
