Location was great

Very simple breakfast. Just juice, coffee, muffins and yogurt.

Hyggeligt hotel.

Vi havde inklusive morgenmad. Men morgenmaden bestod af kaffe, juice, youghurt og en muffin. Hvis vi ville have noget mere, kunne vi bestille i baren op til 15$ pr. værelse pr. dag. Eks. Priser i baren var 6$ for the, eller en bagel 6$. Konklusion er, at Inklusive morgenmad skal tages med modifikationer. Ps. den flaske vand der står på værelset koster 7$ pr. stk.

This is our second time staying at the Moxy Williamsburg. We tend to stay here because my brother lives just across the street so when we visit its perfect for what we need. The staff are friendly, the location is good (Williamsburg is so great and has so much to explore), the rooms are a tad on the small side, but they are very comfortable and have been thought out well to optimise the space. We had a very pleasant stay, its so quiet and cosy and we will definitely be back. Thank you team Moxy

BE AWARE AND CAREFUL STAFF IS DOING FRAUD WITH GUEST CREDIT CARDS AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! On the evening of Thursday, March 19, 2026 I checked into your establishment. At check-in, I provided my passport and my Hotel Tonight reservation confirmation to Johnny who was attending the Check In area. During this time I inserted my Visa Debit Card for incidental charges which Johnny advised would be $50 for one night. During the first instance of me inserting my card, a total amount of $1 was charged. Johnny then told me he did something wrong on his end and I needed to re-insert my card so he can run it for $49 to cover the $50 deposit. I followed his direction re-insert my card. Little did I know Johnny's "mistake", when he asked me to put my card in for a second time, was him actually connecting my card to someone else's reservation!!!!! When I got back home to Miami I was charged for my reservation and someone elses!!! I reached out to the property for 3 days and spoke to 3 different managers. None were able to thoroughly investigate, nor follow up nor take any accountability for this mix up. In all of my years being a Bonvoy member with Marriott I have never been conned like this. I am not pursing legal action as they are not even trying to issue a refund or follow up with Johnny on why I would of inserted my card twice. UNREAL BE AWARE!!!!
