Moxy Brooklyn Williamsburg

We waren er met 8 personen, van 7 tot 77 jaar. Hotel beantwoordde aan ieders wensen. Niet zo’n grote, maar functionele en mooi gedesignde kamers met comfortabele bedden. Gemeenschappelijke voorzieningen waren top, feit dat je makkelijk en goedkoop ontbijt in de buurt vindt en in het hotel mag nuttigen met gratis koffie was prima! Buurt is top! Williamsburg is een rustige, veilige en hippe plek. Zeer goede uitvalsbasis voor city trip! Voelde een beetje als een dorp in de stad, vlak bij het water. Aangename plek om even tot rust te komen en te ontsnappen aan stadsdrukte van Manhattan

Rooftop die weinig open is (enkel ‘s avonds) en in feite een partyplek/discotheek is, vind ik een gemiste kans. Had fijn geweest er overdag een drankje of ontbijt te nuttigen tijdens de bijzonder warme aprildagen.

What breakfast? I wasn't even aware that was an option! That was never mentioned when I checked in. I liked the shower stall which worked well and was spacious - the only vaguely spacious thing about the room. The bed was comfortable. The location is quite convenient for my purposes.

The lack of space around the bed. there was no decent place to open my rather small carryon suitcase - the least space for that I have ever experienced in NYC. Also, a lack of space and hangers for hanging things up. For the price, these both result in a poor value. The worst thing was the bait and switch way I was charged for the room. I was automatically charged for a traveler insurance fee, even though I almost never use that and didn't want to in this case. Lastly, when I checked out, I was told everything was paid for but today got an additional charge for 2 glasses of wine I got at the bar my first night there - why the heck wasn't that added to my overall bill? The hotel had my credit card for incidentals. What was the point of that if my wine charges weren't handled with that?

Fräscha, snygga och härliga rum. Bra personal och välkomnande bar nere i lobbyn. Läget i Williamsburg är super då du har närheten till två tunnelbanelinjer och finns så mycket att göra bara i Williamsburg.

Att dom tog betalt för flaskvattnet på rummet.
