Pearl Courtyard

Do not book at this hotel. Absolutely terrible. We first booked a regular room. On arrival we were ushered into a room with no windows. You have one on a ship but not here. So we upgraded to their best room . The whole night road noise, blazing lights leaked into the room and the lock to the balcony did not work. Finally they did not refund a lunch and dinner that was already paid for in our package. There were more issues but these were enough to turn us off. The optional extra boat ride was outrageous ly priced. All in all very bad experience.

Very small room with no daylight, even small bathroom which was smelly, definitely not 4 stars, more 1-2, too expensive But service was good and staff was nice

Having common dormitory beds and washroom for girls and boys. Even though showing different dormitory for boys and girls. But bed is in same hall only for girls and boys. There is no restriction for boys enter into girls space. Neither have different washroom for boys and girls. AC is not working we are paid for AC but AC is not working which creates suffocating and hot in the area. After complaining they didn't provide any fan also.

Old hotel that lacked cleanliness of room and general cleanliness as well. Terrible bathroom where shower wets the whole bathroom. No designated shower area. Mould in bathroom with no ventilation. Room was dusty, towels dirty, pillows/bedding stained and dirty.

Friendly and helpful staff at this clean, centrally located hotel. This was probably the noisiest hotel I stayed at in India. Though they’re not responsible for outside noise of course the windows were a little thin and the air conditioning units were a bit dated at noisy in the room. However staff did kindly move me to a quieter room. Bathrooms though basic were kept spotless with lovely hot water and water pressure. The adjoining restaurant was amazing and would strongly recommend eating there. Great value as well - though I didn’t appreciate them passing off their ripped rupee notes to me in my change (especially not as a guest at the hotel).

Staff confused and untrained. Got a room with no windows no (yes closet can be a room) ventilation.. very clostrophobic. Cracked glass top, unkept furnitures. Even though one meal was free, front desk never informed and restaurant kept charging until restaurant manager called the room to inquire about dinner and informed us. Staff were polite but untrained.

I donti recommend Travel Desk in this hotel, they are not professional, i losf 1 day out of 3 days due to the professional negligence of Travel Desk

This is our first trip to Varanasi. The hotel is well maintained and walkable to all the ghats and temples. The staff was very friendly and very helpful
