Cosy Axminster Studio with Extra Beds

A beautiful location, a comfortable apartment and a really nice owner.

Could not get the shower to work but luckily there is a shower head on the taps on the bath tub, so no a big issue.

Thoughtfully set up and laid out. Designed to be a lovely stay for us.

Privacy was great as you have your own front door and the studio was comfortable and had facilities to prepare your own food if you wanted. Bath and shower were clean and well equipped and the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Hosts very welcoming and had thought of everything, even leaving croissants in case you hadn't brought your own breakfast. As cat lovers we enjoyed interaction with the onsite kitties, but they would be no bother for anyone that doesn't like them. It was a really nice stay, with use of the garden and patio area for anyone that wants it. I really couldn't find anything to dislike and would be very happy to stay again.

Need to be alert pulling out on to the main road but the hosts were happy to help if you're a nervous driver

Lovely spotless apartment, perfect location for our needs. Owners were very welcoming, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water in fridge available, tasty croissants supplied for breakfast. Loved our stay. Double bed and pull out sofa bed - plenty of room for 3 of us. Would definitely recommend, we will be booking again.

The room was very spacious and we enjoyed having the use of the garden to sit and relax.

Studio itself was very cozy and nice. John and Karen were lovely and we got home baked bread which was delicious.

The only thing to keep in mind is the location. If you are not driving please arrange for cabs in advance, otherwise it will be hard to travel. John was very kind and drove us back to the station as we were traveling by train.

Rural, Nice garden

there was too much furniture. really needed more kitchen space to prepare meals for kids. Just remove the sofa, and the big grandfather clock to make room to pull out the sofa-bed. And remove 1 TV, and move the dining table to the wall, and get a normal sized fridge would improve it greatly. Pity. The 2nd sofa not needed. and surfaces were busy with stuff & ornaments. Nowhere to hang a coat even.
