Host & Stay - Abbey Court Apartment

Perfect location with beautiful views and parking.

It should be a little cleaner, the kitchen should be a little better equipped and there should be better door stops.

Very comfortable bed and pillows.. well equipped apartment having everything for a comfortable stay. Loved being able to open the sash windows to the tiny balcony.. nice to sit out with a coffee or glass of wine. The veiws of the Abbey in the evening mist were stunning... Hosts were very quick in responding to any queries which added to a relaxing weekend. Obviously I'd checked out the location prior to the booking but underestimated the steep climb up from the train station with our bags.. 😁 but great little shops cafés and pubs on way. Had the best weekend.. very friendly people.

It was a good location It was big enough for us and met most of our needs.

There was clumps of dust about, issue with no hairdryer reported it but nothing done to solve issue

The numerous stairs up to apartment, not good for anybody with mobility issues like us.

The space, location & parking (when we located it) was brilliant. After the reviews from May about cleanliness we were worried but obviously the issues have been resolved. We will definitely book to come back.

As I said in my email, the table & chairs on balcony need ditching as rusty & not fit to use, could have done with 2 hand towels & a decent clean tea towel, the art deco bathroom mirror is past its best, needs a bigger one, one of the dining chairs has a very wobbly leg, the owners of the building need to give the exterior a face lift, especially the front door, it's very shabby.

The apartment was in a really lovely position with view of the Abbey from the window.

Very nice property. Location was good. Space was good for a few days that we were staying. You could see the abbey from outside the property (photo included). I only had a video of the property but it’s true to the photos on the advert and is overall was a pleasant stay - if I came to Whitby again I would stay at this property again

The sofa and bed weren’t comfortable to us. The bed springs dug in and made it semi uncomfortable to sleep. But the sofa was hard and not ideal for sitting for long periods of time - what’s fine if you don’t plan to spent too much time inside
