Dual Aspect Windows In Living Area

It was cold, mucky, the fridge was incredibly noisy, the communal staircase was horrible. The property has had pence spent on it, it did have clean bedding but the property hadn’t received a basic clean let alone a deep clean. You can’t check in until 4 and have to be out by 10.. so why hasn’t it been cleaned? We weren’t supplied enough parking permits, emailed a number of times but nothing happened…my insurance deposit was held on my card for 21 days, despite many many emails.. host & stay don’t care or even want to address many issues but they have so many properties and are making lots of money, customer satisfaction and returning customers are irrelevant to this company.

Perfect location for a weekend stay in Whitby. Lovely views. Good sized lounge. Had a huge bed that was very comfy, one of the best beds I've slept on.

Fantastic location close to the shore and old town. Side sea view. The foot operated lamp switches were good.

Could do with more clothes storage space.

Carpet in lounge stained, heating in main living room not hot enough for time of year

It was a good quality for the price. The heating was working well which is important in the cold weather you can have in Whitby. One time the radiator in the main room stopped working but was promptly fixed by the company. The flat was clean abd the location was relatively close to the town centre, within wlaking distance. A Victorian building Nice views everywhere just after leaving the house,

The inscription on the key box was completely faded out. It was not possible to find the right box straight away as the day light fades away quite fast in the late autumn. A torch just produced more reflections, so we struggled at the beginning. Also, the email with the number of the flat and its floor arrived late. In fact, we found the flat after running through all floors and checking all possible doors. After we went inside, I received the email with the information we needed. It was a bit too late, I would say, and disappointing. Unfortunately, we had an unannounced damage deposit and/or waiver request. It came just about two weeks before our check-in and it was not part of the deal. It was not included in the original price. We decided to pay the non-refundable waiver of 25 £ but felt cheated on this one. The damage deposit, although returnable, would have been 250 £. There was no way we could have changed our plans or booking on such a short notice. It was not very professional in our opinion. We were really upset by that.

Apartment was nice. Clean. Comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Had all we needed to cook meals. Very close to whitby town. We had free parking on the car park 300yrds away but only because.it was out of season.

When using booking.com we have always found tea, coffee, and toiletries available. There was 1/2 a toilet roll and 1 sachet of coffee. Normally I pack just in case but this time I didn't. Typical. The property was really cold when we got there so would be nice if that was on especially in the colder months. The bed was huge but a big dip from one single bed to the other.

Dirty pots and pans had to wash most things. Uncomfortable bed and to much noise till the drunks got to sleep after 2am

Ideal location for all amenties.Just a small walk to all in whitby

Booking .com said free parking.I expected a car pak.Beware it's a parking scratch card where you can park free in the street.but only in certain marked areas.There is and never will be a spare place to park.
