Pamarah Lodge

This is my second time at the Lodge. Both times I had a very good experience. It is a great place to stay when you want to visit The Victoria Falls. They will arrange special activities for you. Very well managed property. By the way, great breakfast too !!!!

Lovely stay and a lovely property: nicely appointed rooms, very pleasant dining and lobby area, attentive and friendly staff. Owner also came around and met all the guests which was a nice touch. Only downer is the hotel is slightly distant from the town and falls - too far to walk in hot weather. But a great experience and good value for the cost.

To be honest we weren’t sure what to expect from Zimbabwe when we booked it for our honeymoon but it absolutely exceeded all expectations! This definitely started at the hotel- from the seamless airport transfer when we arrived, to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and owner, to the amazing breakfast and amenities the hotel offered, it was outstanding! We booked the honeymoon suite, which was its own lodge with a spacious bathroom and big patio area with an outdoor shower, the room itself was beautiful not that we actually were able to utilise it! Before our trip we booked various activities around the falls with the hotel, this was super easy and clearly well organised as when we checked in they had a full itinerary printed for us with transfer times. They were also super accommodating when last minute we decided we wanted to devil’s pool and they were able to book us on for the next day. All the activities were with reputable organisations and although some felt a bit pricey it was worth every penny! The owner was very personable and calmed my nerves about doing the gorge swing and even remembered later in the afternoon when he asked us how it went. What stood out the most to us was how warm and friendly the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble! They sorted all our taxis out for the evening, recommended nearby restaurants (all of which were fantastic) and overall you just felt like they cared about you. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at the Pamarah Lodge if visiting Victoria Falls.

Very nice, large rooms. Very comfortable bed Excellent breakfast Professional, efficient and friendly staff that goes above and beyond. My husband forgot his glasses at the hotel, they contacted me and sent these to me at my next destination via Fedex. What wonderful and kind service. The layout and decor of the hotel is very nice

Nothing but worth noting this hotel is not within walking distance of the falls, however the hotel is happy to order a taxi and it is only a $ 5 ride away.
