Cheapest hostel in Netherlands, so one should not expect too much. Common spaces (incl. toilets & showers) are cleaned daily. So-called 'pods' (beds) are relatively private, with a curtain and a private light.

What is unacceptable - regardless the price - is that beds aren't clean. No, you do not clean it! Mine had residues of a previous guest. There is plethora of restrictions: not to open windows (in a 18-people room!), not really place to leave your luggage (tiny lockers; mine didn't work) or hang your towel to dry (it's forbidden, too). There is very little common space to stay (and e.g. work on a laptop) given number of guests. No trash sorting (into glass, plastics etc). Few electric sockets given number of guests. Guests are required to leave food in fridges where it gets stolen, though probably by other guests rather than the staff.

Beds were comfortable and cozy

There was a terrible smell in downstairs kitchen that was there for days.
