New Oxford House Apartments By Happy Days

The place was well put together.

We arrived and had not received any check in codes. When l called l was advised a deposit must be paid. I ased why this was not shown on the booking information or check out. I was told l needed.to pay £100 now. I was standing at the door in the middle of a busy street and was asked to read my card number, if l didnt want l must find their office and an address was sent. I was then told it is YOUR fault you didnt read the small print. I then asked fof a refund and was told its non refundable. My deposit hasn't been refunded yet. I think such things must clearly stated and provided at check out. The mattress in one of the bedrooms needs replacement.

It was located in a central place and easy to find .. checking in with the code was also easy

Apartment smelled weird when we checked in . Wasn’t a great smell at all .. the fridge was also smelling even though it was empty The Windows of both the living area and rooms were not working well I.e you can’t open it so it wasn’t really good The bathroom was also not great because when you bath , the water wouldn’t go down the drain on time .. we were 3 in the apartment and I had to stay inside the water to take a bath after each other because the water wouldn’t go down the drain properly and the bathroom also had a damp smell
