比較的京都駅の近くに位置しており、車やLuupなどがあれば容易に移動ができる立地でした。近くにはスーパーや個人経営の居酒屋などがあり満足でした。 また、チェックインの時間が自由である点や家の作りが古典的で特異デザインであった点は良かったです。 宿に設置されている説明書類などもわかりやすく、事前連絡などの対応はスムーズに行なっていただきました。 また、宿には基本的に必要な備品が全て揃えられていました。

トイレの鍵および扉の建て付けに不具合があり、故障によって1時間近く人が閉じ込められる事態が発生しました。責任者の方が到着されるまで「15分ほど」と説明を受けましたが、30分経っても来られず、最終的には「さらに1時間かかる」と伝えられました。 その間、部屋に設置されたタッチパネルを通じて担当の方と連絡を取りましたが、対応されたスタッフの方が日本人ではなく日本語を十分に理解されていなかったため、コミュニケーションが成立せず、5回ほどやり取りを重ねても解決策は提示されませんでした。 もし1時間待ったのちに責任者の方が訪問されたとして、その方によって開錠できなければ消防や鍵業者を呼ぶ必要があり、余計に時間を要してしまうと申し上げましたが、その意図も伝わらず、最終的には自分たちで解決するほかありませんでした。 事が落ち着いて事態の経緯を報告した際、担当の方に非常に不誠実な態度で対応をされ、「切ってもいいですか？」など言葉を投げ捨てるように発しており、挙句には舌打ちをして電話を切られるという非常に残念な対応を受けました。 こちらも焦っていた点は申し訳ございません。スタッフの方が悪くないことも重々承知しておりますが、非常時の対応力の不足はもちろんのこと、何よりも旅行という限られた時間を無為に浪費してしまったことが悲しく、最終的な対応に対しては不信感を覚えました。決して安い値段ではないからこそ残念です。 また、清掃状況についても問題がありました。 部屋の一部の床が砂埃で覆われているような状態で、少々不衛生に感じました。壁が砂壁のような素材であったため仕方はないかもしれませんが、軽い清掃用具を設置するなど、解決策があれば良いなと思いました。

The small house was perfect for us (4 adults and one child) to go around Kyoto. There is a big supermarket and several restaurants in walking distance and a playground 20m away (you don’t hear the playground). Beside the local tax link not working, everything went very smooth!

The check-in process was frustrating and poorly handled. I had been in communication with the property prior to our arrival, so I’m not sure why important information—like how to access the unit—wasn’t shared earlier. When we got there, we didn’t have the entry code and had to stand outside sending messages and emails trying to figure out how to get in. Only then were we told that we needed to pay a ‘city tax’ before the code would be provided. The payment link they shared didn’t work, and after about 30 minutes of back-and-forth, we were finally able to get inside. I later had to find a convenience store to pay the tax manually, and ended up being charged more because of the issue with the link. The whole process was unnecessarily stressful and a real inconvenience—I wouldn’t choose to go through it again. On top of that, the property is not as close to the train station, so it requires more walking if you want to get around.

Liked the property. Bed was super comfy. Garden and living room were pretty. Shower was nice. Unfortunately I have to dock several stars because we were completely locked out upon arrival. They never sent the checkin instructions until we rang the support. They never sent the code to open the door until we rang them AGAIN. This is a major issue since our phones are not Japanese and therefore the phone calls are Expensive! This was extremely frustrating to deal with in the cold, after a long travel time, at 11pm… A huge shame since it dampened our overal experience considerably…

It was freezing inside, we had all air cons on for 2 hrs and it done nothing not even when we closed the door in the rooms, it was still cold, no slippers were pervided as we had to take our shoes off as a rule. This doesn't make sence when the floor was the coldest part of the room. I checked out after the 2 hrs and had to over book my accommodation, the check in by yourself is silly cause they never gave me a code for the door before i enterd. No email said they would be a code on the door. They say theres a ipad for check in but thats inside the house. Luckily my girlfriend could make over sea calls and we had too call them for the code while waiting out side in the cold, the location does not meet luxury standards and its definitely not luxury on the inside as it was just uncomfortable. The bath was not clean i started to fill it up and when it did there was this stuff floating around in the bath! I didn't even bother to reach out to them to get a refund cause i was so mad i didnt wanna speak to them and upset anyone but i would never ever stay there again.

Beautiful space, nice bathroom

Not very practical. There was nowhere to put our suitcases and clothing (no shelves or closets) and there wasn't a comfortable place to sit and hang out. Location was OK, not central if you're in Kyoto a short time and want to see the top tourist things. Also the check in process was really time consuming.

Nothing really

Bad location, the place was fully of plainly visible mold, and had a horrid smell. The sitting room chairs were very uncomfortable, and there was not enough room to sit based on the side of the table. When tried to contact the site to resolve the issue, the person was clearly from some call center, and did not know how to help when I’d hear back, what could be done, etc. when I finally heard back, I was told I would get no refund, as mold was part of “natural wear and tear”? As if they couldn’t at least spray the walls with bleach and hide the fact that the place has mold… lastly the code to unlock the door was not sent as others have complained. They sent it AFTER you check in? You have to call them on the phone, and they tell it to you. While you are outside the property, getting eaten by bugs. The check in info on the email doesn’t tell you to call them, just says you can if there are any issues. Do not stay here under any circumstance

The address is hard to find, there is a stone road at the door of the room, it is not convenient to use the suitcase, when I checked in, I found that there are footprints that have not been cleaned up, the bathroom ventilation system is not good, the bathtub is not clean, and the quilt in the upstairs room is not in place to remove mites, resulting in my skin allergy
