The property is cozy and very beautiful. A few of the staff is really lovely and welcoming.

Most of the staff however has a low knowledge of english and most of them I found annoying. The rooms were overall clean BUT both times they changed our towels the towels werent very clean... The plates for breakfast buffet werent very clean either. The breakfast wasnt the best, but we did not find a good selection of breakfast anywhere in Italy so lets say that it was average or just belove average. All in all i would say its a bit overpriced for the experience, but its probably justified by the fact that its in tuscuny so...

Everything was incredible. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend.

There is nothing to not like about the place.

We visited BSV in August and it was the jewel in the crown of our two-week trip to Italy! Sandwiched between our stays in Rome and Florence, BSV exceeded our expectations, providing the perfect escape to decompress under the Tuscan sun. It is the little things that make all the difference and from the outset, BSV set the bar high. Even before our arrival, the team were transparent and forthcoming in their communication, instantly putting us at ease. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely owners, Shannon and Scott. As experienced hoteliers with their first property in Anguilla, they are truly invested in providing an exceptional experience and building something very special with BSV. Make no mistake; it may be a four-star property on paper, but offers six-star hospitality with a commitment to personalised service. Every detail has been meticulously curated and considered, creating a luxurious and intimate atmosphere, whilst celebrating its Tuscan roots. We stayed in Room 105, which had a spacious sitting room, kitchenette, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The rooms are brand spanking new, evocative of rustic minimalism, yet installed with all the necessary mod-cons. Housekeeping is exceptional - everything was sparkling and they provided whatever we requested, even gifting a bottle of wine for our anniversary celebrations - a wonderful surprise! The BSV corkscrew, wine bottle covers and tasting notes were thoughtful touches, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. BSV is a haven of tranquility and despite our best intentions to explore the area, we didn’t want to leave the property. There is a gorgeous swimming pool where we spent lazy afternoons, cozy library equipped with board games and our favourite spot - the bar where we spent hours sipping bespoke cocktails made by the talented mixologist Filippo. He made the best negronis we've ever had, prompting us to consider whether it was possible to take him back home!

Continued from above... The F&B is truly outstanding. Chef Giulio is seriously skilled and takes great pride in his food. He went out of his way to understand our dietary restrictions and made delicious meals bursting with flavour, including an exquisite wine dinner enjoyed under the stars. We ate some of our best meals at BSV and that’s saying a lot considering we were in Italy, where delectable food and wine is no rarity! What really stood out was the absolute pride the staff take in serving and engaging with guests. The team is diverse but share an innate curiosity, desire to learn and are proactive in their approach. One wouldn’t expect a boutique hotel in its first proper season to be operating so smoothly, but BSV makes the most of its resources and wisely invests in its team, the cornerstone of a successful hospitality business. There is real sense of camaraderie amongst the staff and the mutual respect and warmth they share with the owners is unusual. Shannon and Scott lead by example and we did not encounter a single disgruntled guest or member of staff. If anything, everyone was genuinely eager to please and go the extra mile. Wherever there was room for improvement, feedback was received constructively and openly, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming at all times. Needless to say, many properties make the mistake of valuing style over substance, but BSV is the exception to the rule. This property is all heart and it’s the exemplary service that sets it apart. Amongst those we’d like to thank are Carlo, Simi, Laura and Jonathan, who were super helpful in crafting itineraries. Chef Giulio, Filippo and Frankie wined and dined us to our hearts’ content! Fabio, Maria, Sofia, Liza, Dimitri, Shaily, Andrea, Shalibi - thank you all.
