Top top top hotel. Marc is a fantastic host. His place is amazing. The pool is something. So confortable, peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the jungle. We had the chance to see a monkey familly. We highly recommand Marc place. Thanks a lot.

This was one of the most beautiful, clean, and peaceful environments we have ever stayed in. Marc was personable, accommodating, and truly made our stay one of the most memorable parts of the trip. A friend and I stayed here for Envision Festival and did not realize it was a 30-minute drive to and from the festival. Marc drove us all the way into Uvita himself one of the days and set up a driver for us who would take us in the morning and pick us up late at night (2 AM sometimes) to get us home safely. Marc served us breakfast and coffee himself every morning and always asked about our day. When we would return to the villa at night we were welcomed home with peaceful music and automatic lights that would turn on to guide us up to our room - where we found our bed made, clothes folded, and towels replenished every day. The property itself is stunningly beautiful. Rafael and Marc truly poured their creative and tasteful style into this jungle oasis and it shows through every detail. There was construction happening on the property while we were there, but it did not interrupt our stay at all, and it seems like it's going to be a great addition! We are excited to come back and would highly recommend Vayu Retreat Villas to anyone looking for a quiet oasis in Costa Rica!

That accommodations were great! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend spending some time here!

No TV at first was a negative but after one night we were happy it wasn't a distraction. Stereo was sometimes glitchy but not a problem.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay here. Every detail has been considered. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make sure every part of our visit was amazing. I will certainly be back the next time I visit Costa Rica.

The owners have worked very hard to provide a very comfortable stay. Marc and Raff are very friendly and make you feel like family. They are wonderful hosts and the food Raff cooks is amazing! we are not vegetarian but it was so delicious it does not matter. we had complimentary delicious breakfasts each day( we got to choose!) and ate one delicious dinner there. You can watch Raff cook and Marc is so service oriented and hospitable it makes you feel very special. Raff sang after dinner so we had our own personal entertainment! it was awesome! the beds and pillows are super comfortable and the shower products and lotion were great quality and small amazing. pool is very inviting and comfortable temperature with comfortable areas in the shade as well.

they are doing construction on an outdoor bar and amphitheater which they advised us about but it did not bother us and the sound was not constant or bothersome. it will be beautiful when it is done! there is not much for a view. The door did not close and lock fully initially but they addressed it immediately and it is due to the intense sun and contraction of the wood. they have a plan for correction and we did not feel unsafe at all. El Pavon waterfall and playa Ventanas are close by and well worth visiting! also close to Ojochal for dining but try the food at Vayu! so delicious!

We absolutely loved our time at Vayu. This place is extremely modern, has tasteful rooms with comedy beds and also a lovely pool area. Our Highlight was the Restaurant that offers amazing vegetarian/vegan food. The owner Marc and Rafael are super lovely people and make this place extra special! Thanks for the really nice time.
