Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel

Tremendous experience. We stayed in one of the deluxe one bedrooms with kitchenette. Suite was recently renovated, very clean, comfortable furniture and bed, effective and quiet air conditioning, well layed out bathroom with spacious shower. Fast and seamless WiFi. Lovely terrace and very clean 24 hour pool, with a view of the floating market. Desk and housekeeping staff are top notch. Helpful, proactive, and great advice. Overnight on site in person security guard was actively walking the halls and checking gates. Free on street parking is reasonably easy to find right at the hotel. Location is great. Parts of Scharloo seem to be in transition, but overall it feels as safe to walk as any part of Punda, day or night. Not as much retail right at hand, but it's a short and pleasant walk across the bridge to Punda. Floating market is right there for fruit and veg, with a few mini marts within a short walk for other necessities. All in all, tremendously pleased with this spacious, attractive and very well run hotel.

By far one of my best stays! The location is perfect- you're right by downtown where everything happens. While I am not the biggest fan of the street the hotel is on, may seem intimidating at nights, it was very safe. My room was great, love the windows; table and chairs by my window, loved the huge tree in the yard. The 24 hr pool was a great touch. The staff is very attentive and easy. to talk to- feel free to ask them questions of where to go, local transportation, you're adventurous. There was construction while I was there, but honestly, it wasn't a bother to me as I spent most of the day touring the island. I strongly recommend and I will be staying there on my next trio.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was welcoming and thorough with instructions prior to arrival. I got to check in at 12 despite normal checkin being at 3:00pm. My room had a balcony by a large three with a table and chairs outside the balcony- made perfect for easy morning coffee and a good read. the room was clean and all the things I needed. I wish there was a TV in the living area and not the bedroom but I am just nitpicking here. The pool is 24 hrs which was great- I suggest they create a shower by the pool- maybe it's there and I missed it. the staff was amazing and gave great advice. the location cannot be beat for the price! my only thing with location is that as a visitor it kinda felt iffy, but once you started going out and coming back you realized its very safe and you'll be ok.

Wonderful time spent here for a solo trip. No complaints!!

I love this hotel. It’s near everything and it walking distance I became like a local very quickly. The staff was helpful, even stayed on ft The other me at I got lost finding the bus depot. I cannot say enough great things!

Great location. Super close to points of interest (~10 minutes), but still at some distance so it is not so loud. Staff is very friendly.

Very pretty, super clean, incredibly friendly. Small pool but refreshing and cute. Close to everything but in a quiet area.

Awesome staff, location genuine authentic feeling. A few blocks away “ladies of the night” , BUT still a safe location and just a few min walk away to all the restaurants and sights. Still a WIN!!

The hotel was great, the room is very comfortable and the staff is very kind and always willing to help if you need something. Location was perfect only 5 five minutes walking distance from Queen Emma’s Bridge.
