Breakfast was very good the location was perfect for what we required (Chartwell) Staff were helpful and friendly

Our room was outstanding with many thoughtful touches including complementary sloe gin, eye mask, ear plugs, room spray and radio playing restful music. The bed was very comfortable, and the beautiful bathroom with a roll-top bath was complete with lovely toiletries. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast and would happily return.

The location great

Have stayed there a number of times in last 3 years but high standards have slipped since last visit 3/4 months ago. Room cold no thermostat mattress very poor- very soft. Slow service at breakfast and the self service area there seemed lacking no butter for example and poorer selection than in the past.

A really great place, we loved the atmosphere. Room was well made up, little small, but perfect. The tasting gin was a great touch. The food in the restaurant was really good. I would definitely stay again
