Seehuisie, Langebaan, 6-sleeper

Excellent location

Very basic for the price - very basic equipment and supplies, no fan/AC made nights quite hot, no washing machine, no TV, no wine glasses- but a high breakage deposit you need to pay extra and the extra coordination with Langebaan holiday homes who send lots of messages. Should be mentioned that third bedroom is open to kitchen and lounge

Unfortunately the renovations of the surrounds spoilt the stay somewhat, The outdoor furniture was covered up and unavailable to use (painting was taking place), the bbq was not available for the same reason. So essentially outside was not used at all. On arrival, painting ladders and equipment in the driveway made it awkward for the arrival. Suggest, don’t let out the unit in the future during these situations.

When I checked in I was told that the security deposit would be returned to me via check. I advised that I am from out of the country and needed it credited back to my credit card. They told me ok, they would not charge the card. But they did so immediately. During our stay we broke 2 of their paper-thin glasses. They then told me there were stains on the carpet. There were NO spills during our stay. One glass broke during washing dishes and the other on the patio outside. The pictures of the stain were clearly old. I agreed to disagree for the balance of my deposit and Langebaan Holiday Homes refuses to answer my emails.
