Edinburgh Stay Parking Nr City Centre & Haymarket

Facilties were good, had a welcome box with coffee, biscuits and toiletries. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom. Smart tv and the kitchen had everything needed for a short stay Within walking distance to the town centre and the castle

Its not a great area for drivers - the street is very thin and there isnt much room to drive past parked cars to get to the property. Its even worse when following the road around to leave the street. A van nearly crashed into my car getting past. There is also no parking spot. You have to just park in the street wirh you car practically against the wall so be careful when parking otherwise your car will be scratched It is tricky to find - my satnav took us to a different block of flats otherside of this property, even though we entered the correct details. We then had to drive around to find the correct street. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable We also asked for an earlier check in time as we got there 4 hours prior due to driving and wanting ro avoid traffic. We ended up parked outside and had to wander for a while as we weren't allowed an earlier check in earlier.

Superb location, 5 mins walking to Haymarket Station which is one stop and 5 mins away from Edinburgh Waverley the main station. Lots of restaurants nearby or just pop onto town! Had its own parking space right by the front door. Everything on ground floor level so no humping suitcases up steps! Spacious flat. Huge bed. Base of fresh red roses on table to greet us! Nice touch.

Fairly basic cooking equipment. Duvet too small for the enormous bed and duvet cover too small for duvet! Need a mattress protector between top sheet and mattress for comfort and hygiene. I hope we don’t get charged £50 ‘cleaning fee’ as we left it all absolutely immaculate! Rather dim lighting made the sitting/dining room look dingy.

A welcome box of goodies was much appreciated. The communication prior to our arrival was excellent especially the video of how to enter and a tour of the apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped. Location was quiet but very close to heaps of cafes and food shops, pubs and not far to major shopping areas and castle.

Bathroom is a little shabby. Gate fell off the wall while we were there.
