Edinburgh Stay Parking Nr City Centre & Haymarket

Great location and in a quiet area, lovely wee house

Cleaner hadn't dusted throughout in a good while plus lack of t.roll and spillage on bedside drawers hadnt been wiped , and maybe some milk , bread and butter left would be better than trying to find a shop after a long day of travel, I emailed the owner an they assured me they would speak to the cleaning team .....would we stay again .....Yes,..... so long as the cleaning team did their job properly .

Great location for Haymarket area. Close to facilities but also quiet. Great bit of history in the street. Very clean and nicely appointed. Great that there are lots of bits and pieces already there e.g. oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee etc.

The approach up the path was a bit difficult with an overgrown hedge and broken slabs. Worried what it would be like once we got inside and so was relieved to be greeted by a great little property. Could do with a bigger duvet in the main bedroom.

Very good location. The kitchen was clean. Beds were comfortable.

The shower and the floor were not cleaned very much.

It was a nice location at the end of a row of pretty gardens and well kept terraced houses. When we phoned to comment that we couldn't find extra towels, pillows and sheets the staff were very helpful and told us where to find them (in a locked cupboard with other supplies). They arrived the next morning with the requested items and a box of chocolates!

The house was run down and in need of renovation and a deep clean: The handle on the tap in the bathroom kept falling off; the radiator in the bathroom was leaking; there was lots of black mould on the bathroom ceiling; the pull out couch which my daughter and her husband slept on was dirty; the bed in the main bedroom consisted of two single beds pushed together and one side was old and had springs sticking out and the other side was firmer and newer; the towels were worn out, the toilet brush was unbelievably disgusting!! We've stayed in lots of Air B&B's across the world and this was really the worst. These small but annoying things could easily be rectified with a little care and attention to details.
