Emerald Palm Courtyard Hotel

Tried to find this place with a car for over an hour. No parking remotely close. Felt very sketchy. No answer on phone at 10pm despite numerous calls even though we forewarned of arrival time.

I think it's a good location to enjoy Stone Town. This is a hotel that you can be satisfied with overall. One thing you may be a little concerned about is the hard lock on the door, which makes a noise when opening and closing the door.

Highly, higly recommended. Beautifully decorated and reall friendly and helpful staff. Plus excellent location

It was conveniently situated for exploring the area. - Stylish Decoration: The hotel's decor was tasteful and added to the overall ambiance, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

- Payment Limitation: One minor inconvenience was that we could only pay in cash, as the credit card machine was broken. This could be a consideration for future guests to plan accordingly. - Uncomfortable Pillow: While the bed was fantastic, the pillow provided wasn't as comfortable, impacting the quality of our sleep.

Staff were helpful friendly and hospitable. Helped with sorting out tours and other things. Location was within close proximity to main part of the town.

If you're not used to stonetown the location of the hotel can seem odd as it feels like it's a backstreet. However once you get used to the neighborhood and the structure and architecture, it's less strange. Also due to the location it can seem dusty. The walls of the restroom within the room did not go up to the ceiling so although partitioned it is not fully sealed off from the room

The place is very nice and the people over there are very hospitable.

The staff at Zanzi house were excellent. They allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel whilst we went on Safari, before we had even checked in at the hotel. They also provided us early check in on our day of arrival in the morning and were very flexible. The hotel has a lot of history and the common area and upstairs balcony area has a great ambience. The rooms were comfortable as were the beds. This was a great value for money stay.

There was no cats and it was closer to restaurants & in town

The stuff just sit there watch tv movies. They can’t speak English. Breakfast is really bad

The shower only came hot if you dribbled the water, no hair dryer available. The bed was small and hard. No town maps or directions, the safe did not work, their exchange rate was high, and In a very noisy neighborhood. The door had windows.to the corridor which had bright lights on all night. A miserable experience.
