Polek Hotel

Good location close to the seaside, within walking distance. In august 2022 their rooms were recently refurbished and the mattres was great (hard enough for a good sleep), AC was fully functional, room was excellent in terms of clenliness, furniture, but also how they utlised the space (toilet separated from shower and sink, all new and functional - warm water instantly at 3rd floor, clean towels, and decent amenities - shower gel/shampoo and soap, functional minifridge as well). Room was well insulated, we were not bothered by any noise and slept really well. High appreciation for their support with the parking lot - they guided us personally to a private parking monitored by a video camera. This enclosed parking area was right behind the hotel, but given the narrow and busy streets it was accesible via a lateral street. We sincerely reccomend it, for us it was a good value for money, as we were on a road trip and valued parking, and comfort in the room for a good sleep, while being close to the vibrant area and restaurants.

While we liked everything, just to manage expectations - the breakfast was more of a traditional approach, not the international one - so do not expect a selection of salami/pastrami, but more olives, eggs, cheese and local pastry - which for us was quite tasty. No espresso/cappucino or western coffee was served, they can offer you Turkish coffee (which was really tasty for us) and the standard instant Nescafe alternative, widely served in Turkey and Arabic countries.

Clean and tastefully interior. Bed was comfortable, calm in the night. Good breakfast and close to the center.

No hooks and shelves in the bathroom.

Nothing special. just a transit hotel. clean room. decent breakfast. decent location.

the hotel staff barely understand English and communication was mostly with signs and smiles.
