Camões Downtown with Parking

Our second time at this location. Highly recommend

The apartment is big and clean and has free private parking. Just note that the parking slot is too tight so, extreme care is required to be able to park to the designated space to avoid scratching your car or getting dented.

1. The host Giselle is hard to contact in terms of emergency and do not pick up calls, which was difficult especially when you’re a tourist and no data roaming available and can only make phone calls. 2. The water system is not efficient and we ended up showering in freezing water! The system that heats the water is a boiler, with a limited amount of water. When using all the heated water, you need to wait for 30 minutes or more for it to heat up again. So if you’re a family of 3 or 4 or more, you’ll struggle to get ready especially when you have scheduled tours to attend and might end up having a cold shower just to avoid being late. I find this as major setback because it’s winter time and heated water is crucial in any accommodation. I hope this improves to avoid disappointing future guests.

Cosy, everything you need for a break. Brand new building, lots of things close by, main tourist things between 5 and 10 minutes away, or the metro is 2 minutes away. We stayed over Christmas so it was great to have a cosy couch with a big TV to watch movies.

The parking space is in the basement. I am a very competent driver but getting into this space was difficult. There are 6 spaces. 2 had other cars in the other spaces. If all the other spaces were occupied parking would be impossible, not difficult, impossible. We rented a Renault Capture for size comparison. The parking is not in the back garden in the photos.

Beautiful , clean and modern apartment, 3 minutes from metro , 15 from city center . The parking is very convenient if you come with a car (tight space though).

Great set up, had everything we needed for our short stay. Very clean and well-equipped. Close enough to the sights to walk. Parking was very tight, but manageable. Sushi restaurant nearby was excellent: GRAND' HONRA SUSHI.

We asked to use the sofa bed, but they didn't remember and we had to have one night with no sheets. Personally, I found the all dark hallways of the building off-putting. I felt like I was in a dungeon.
