"Lovely friendly place with large comfortable rooms some of which are dog friendly"

The Lion was great as always with lovely spacious and comfortable room. The food was great and as we were unable to make breakfast on 2 mornings they gave us a credit towards an evening meal.

Having stayed before everything was as we expected.

"Fantastic place to stay and eat. Highly recommended!"

The location was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. We went with our dog and were given a ground floor room with very easy outside access. Kettle and coffee machine available in the room, good selection of teas and coffees offered. Staff was welcoming and very professional. The food at the pub was delicious and the breakfast menu was very good.
