Casa Sula Bali

Had an incredible stay at this gorgeous villa in Bali! The villa’s got a nice Balinese / Mediterranean vibe and is big and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great stay and the host was lovely and helped us organise any additional requests. A big plus for all the great cafes and restaurants at your doorstep and the nearby beach.

As some have mentioned there is music from the gym next door but not loud enough to be a bother. We took it as an invite to join a session at the gym.:)

Our stay at Casa Sula was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful design and attention to detail. The villa is spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. And the place is big enough to enjoy the company of friends, while still maintaining some privacy. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the large outdoor area - a lush, tropical paradise that felt so serene and private. We spent most of our time lounging and having drinks by the amazing pool. The location couldn’t have been better - just a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by amazing restaurants and cafés. We loved being able to explore the area so easily, yet still return to the peaceful oasis of the villa. The hosts were also wonderful - super responsive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was as seamless as possible. We can’t recommend this villa enough and would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was monsoon season, the property were so badly maintained that the water was leaking everywhere. The walls are so thin I could hear the nearby gym blasting their music from my room!

I spent 5 nights with my family. We had an amazing time, walked to the shops, great cafes and restaurants 15minutes walk. The weather wasn't great but we still have fun.

The villa is in a great location if you are after a quiet part of Uluwatu. We could walk to the beach and some local restaurants. It’s a short trip in a car or bike if you want to go to the main shops and restaurants. The kitchenware was nice and also well stocked if you wanted to eat in. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and the beds comfortable.

All of the furnishings were old and worn - all of the outdoor chairs were broken, the bathroom towels, once white were grey and some had holes in them (also not soft). There was no where comfortable to really lounge around in that everything looks great in photos and instagram but when you sat down they were uncomfortable. It’d be good to have some lounge furniture by the pool area. There’s some mold on the bathrooms. A couple of nights it rained and water came into two of the bedrooms - we had to put towels down along the floors.

We liked the big living room and the open area. Also the staff was very nice.

Some little parts of the villa should be renovated.

Villa is located right beside a gym that played really loud music early in the morning. The main door of the living area cannot be closed properly so we ended up having birds ransack our trash one of the nights. There was no option for luggage storage and the hosts did not provide us with an alternative or suggestion on how we could store the luggages despite asking repeatedly. We had to cross over to Green Escape, where they kindly accepted our request for luggage storage with no cost involved.
