Glamping Pods Nr Port Isaac

Great facilities in a compact but magically spacious shepherds hut. Genuinely dog friendly. Nice view out across the costal horizon. Easy to find and within walking distance of the wonderfully atmospheric fishing village of port Isaac. Convenient to explore all that Cornwall has to offer with ease.

Nothing really to stress about. Bought a bottle of wine but found it was cork and we didn’t have a cork screw. Take care in high temperatures to close blind / curtains to keep as cool as possible.

Surprisingly comfortable stay, lovely area, some good walking The glamping Pod had everything you could wish for. For a Pod of this type it was very good. Clean and well maintained. Very well finished off too. Good use of space.

Not much really, if I had to be picky, the shower/toilet room could do with a shelf to put your toiletries and possibly a hook on the door to hang you dressing gown. Also a small fold up table to use whilst sitting on the very nice settee. Even though it had a very good fold up larger table and chairs for dining. The flush on the toilet was nor very good.

Beautiful rural location, great base for sightseeing in North Cornwall. We booked 2 pods as there were 5 of us. 2 adults in the smaller pod and 2 adults and a child in the larger pod. The pod has pretty much everything you need down to cutlery and cups, plates and even a fold away table and chairs. It had a TV, although we did not watch it, it was an escape from normality for us. Small BBQ that did the job. The pods are beautiful and well built and are cosy and warm.

Pod 4 has the noisiest fridge ever which kicks in about every 30 minutes day and night. Cleanliness in both pods was not the best. The towels and bedding didn't smell or look fresh and we found socks and tissues down the side of the bed and in the sofa bed,. We didn't dare look any further at what else may have been hiding. I read a reply to a review from sept 25 saying they would renew bedding etc in the winter. I don't think they have. The duvets are grim. They didn't provide a spare sheet or duvet cover for the sofa bed needed for my child so one of the owners had to bring some. They brought it in a laundry bag for dirty laundry which had 2 dead woodlouse inside. The sofa bed needs a deep clean, there are muddy paw prints on it. The foldable table also needs a good deep clean, it is thick with dust around the frame. The bed was okay for a new night's sleep. They didn't provide enough toilet paper for 4 nights for 3 of us and only 1 bin small bag in the main room and 1 in the bathroom. I didn't feel like I should have to keep calling them to provide things that should have been there, so we just made do. The cleanliness really lets it down.

The location was perfect for walking down into Port Issac the pod was lovely clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was superb,lovely and peaceful.. lovely sea view.. good shower. ..the pods were lovely .. out side space great even though weather not it good .. good bbq..

Could do with a spot light facing into kitchenette..
