"Very relaxing and enjoyable."

Everything you needed in a lovely compact place. Very quite. Simon was a great host and couldn’t do enough for you even dog sitting.

A little bit isolated can’t really walk to Sutton on sea but wouldn’t put me off returning.

"Beautiful, peaceful break for New Year break away."

Quite surroundings, not far from beach, shops, pubs etc. Good value, welcome by owner on arrival. They have put a lot of thought into extras, and we did not need to pop & buy anything. The garden is enclosed, which was great for our dog. We went as a family with teenagers, they loved the separate summer house. It was bigger than we thought & loads of storage. We would definitely recommend it.

No hoover or long handled sweeping brush, our dog shreds hair & I normally hoover a couple of times a day at home!! I'm sure hosts would have provided one if I had asked, which I didn't (this is my only dislike)!!

"Nice place, great location to the beach."

Very dog friendly place with an enclosed private garden. A lot of thoughtful touches by the hosts. Birdsong lodge is quirky an different there were some spices and condiments which were helpful. Simon and Cheryl were happy to help with anything we needed.

Beautiful accommodation, everything we needed in a cosy quirky home from home. Went out of their way to make us welcome and loved the last minute birthday banner ♥️ nothing was too much trouble, thank you for a lovely stay
