"An old style hotel with a glamorous reception area."

We were allowed to change rooms when we discovered that our room was in the top floor and rather hot 🥵 in the June heatwave. The receptionist was very helpful in organising this.

The extended car park and outside area continues to be untidy with junk and litter lying around.

Everything Staff were wonderful couldn’t do enough for you Went that extra mile to make my stay stressless The bedroom was superb with everything you need very relaxing restful sleep. Food was perfect, a delicious varied menu. Our experience was just excellent we will certainly stay again We would highly recommend The Plough.

"Good value but wouldn’t go agsin"

Well located Good menu but slow service they forgot our dessert order

No lift and a warren of corridors no offer of assistance with luggage to reach a room 3 floors up
