Vriendelijk personeel en goede ligging. Kamers waren in orde

Alles was prima geregeld, ontbijt a la carte plus de normale continental attributen. Niet heel luxe, wel gewoon in orde. Ook het avondeten wat daar kan, is prima in orde . Kamer zijn mooi en ruim, geen kluisje en de temperatuur loopt snel op. Het is een wat ouder gebouw met de nodige charmes, isolatie is minder. Er is geen airco. Badkamer en douche, helemaal top.

De warmte regulering in de kamer is iets wat beter kan maar is ook inherent aan het gebouw, wat prachtig is maar oud. Een kluisje op de kamer vind ik ook altijd wel prettig, dat is er niet.

Extremely welcoming and pleasant staff. Room ( and whole hotel) exceptionally clean and fresh. Restaurant good value and wide choice - freshly cooked food. Breakfast excellent. Good G/F options.

We were here for 3 nights at the end of May. We opted for Deluxe King Suite to end our holiday in Scotland. And what a great choice that was!. We had a lovely spacious apartment with a little kitchenette, with basic items, but this was perfect as we knew that we would have cooked breakfast in the hotel and dinner too. So the kitchen was used for teas and coffees only. The bedroom had more than enough room, a little noisy which soon dissipated after 10pm when the pub closed. The staff here have to be commended, every person we came in contacted with were just so friendly, polite and welcoming. They enquired about our days sightseeing and also recommended places to see. Just genuinely interested. That leaves the food, which I can’t’ rate enough. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order, this meant that it was nice and hot. Again the dinner plentiful and flavoursome. We both enjoyed our meals. I know it’s pub grub but if it’s great it’s Great! Would I recommend a stay here? Yes I would definitely and we would come back too.

Great location on the start of the NC500. Quiet location and ample rear parking. Breakfast was tasty and staff friendly.

Hotel was great and just what we were looking for. Bar food was good too. Area around the hotel was quiet, so no other choices if you stay for a few days.
