"Very Good"

This is a decently comfortable Inn with good food and good service overall. The staff are helpful. Its not too far from the M4 and makes it a good choice for travel stopover.

Room a bit tired, might benefit of refresh. the bathroom is a bit too tiny. Bed mattresses could be better.

"Don't stay on a Sunday night"

The room was comfortable

The reception we received on arrival at 5.20 pm Sunday evening was not very welcoming. When I enquired about a meal that evening and breakfast next morning I was briefly told "we are pub. We do not serve meals on a Sunday evening or breakfast on a Monday." After checking in we walked across the road to the pub opposite the Crown and Horns and sadly had now missed the last servings for dinner "restaurant closes at 6.pm but the Harrow in West Ilsley might still be open. Sadly again closed at 6.00pm. I must question why we were not informed of this but the duty manager at the Swan. We left early Monday morning to find somewhere for breakfast!

Locational and bar food very good.

Breakfast booked for 7.30 .Doors locked and no one showed up ? So Waited 15 mins still no show so I had to leave .Very disappointing
