Fourteen at Mullet Bay

It's located in a nice part of St Martin and has a beautiful view away from the busy streets.

It has a rain shower, but half of the holes that let the water through were blocked with dirt. The apartment and balcony are fine, but it's basically a highly overpriced hotel room without the services a hotel room provides. These can be purchased at additional cost. It is a nice spot, but not worth the amount you pay.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Fourteen at Mullet Bay was extremely disappointing and stressful. We arrived around noon on our first day, fully understanding that check-in was not until 4:00 PM. We were told we could wait by the pool, however there were no towels available for guests whose rooms were not yet ready. After management scrambled, we were given three towels and told to return them immediately after use, which felt unwelcoming and disorganized. On our second night, the bathroom began to smell strongly of sewage. The odor was overwhelming and made me feel nauseous. I could not sleep and had to keep the bathroom door closed all night due to how disgusting the smell was. Reaching the front desk/concierge was extremely difficult , calls and texts went unanswered for a long time. When someone finally came up to inspect the bathroom, they dismissed the issue entirely, stating it “smelled like shampoo” and that nothing was wrong. The following day, I spoke directly with the manager, who again told me the bathroom smelled fine, despite the very real and persistent sewage odor. Being told repeatedly that there was no issue when there clearly was one felt dismissive and unacceptable. Additional issues included: • The pool water was freezing, making it unusable. • Our unit had a broom but no dustpan, and once again concierge could not be reached for assistance. • When trying to arrange a massage for my husband, concierge did not answer calls. We later received a text telling us to contact a different number — one we were never provided — adding to the constant confusion and lack of communication. Overall, the lack of responsiveness, poor communication, and refusal to acknowledge legitimate concerns completely ruined our stay. Instead of feeling relaxed on vacation, we felt frustrated and unheard. At this point, we are simply ready to go home. This property has potential, but management, cleanliness issues, and guest service need serious improvement.
