Bubu Mesari Ubud Villa

Un posto con molta privacy e tranquillità, appena si esce c'è la caotica Ubud, con tantissimi ristoranti a pochi minuti, il personale è molto gentile e la colazione buonissima e abbondante, la cosa più bella in assoluto è il bagno doccia, sembra di stare in un altro mondo per quanto è bello, il tutto affacciato al foresta tropicale bellissima, spero di poterci ritornare!

Posizione ottima, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla via principale di ubud e in un contesto tranquillo, cosa molto apprezzabile visto il traffico della città

Lovely garden.

Upon my arrival in the afternoon, in the wall of the roof we could hear rats screaming and moving ! It was shocking ! The staff came to put traps and sprayed the area, but it left me anxious all night ! The place lacks simple things, like pillows on all wooden outdoor furniture. The bench, chairs, sunbeds are made of wood with nothing on top to make your moment comfortable. The pool looks very attractive on photos, which made me book this villa in first place. Unfortunately the water looked blurry and not clean, so I haven’t even put even my feet in there.

Prachtig verblijf op wandelafstand van het centrum van Ubud. We genoten enorm van de luxe badkamer. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam. Ook de massage in de kamer was top!

Cannot recommend this villa enough. The staff was so amazing and friendly and made us feel like royalty. They accommodated our schedule with breakfast and lunch and kept the rooms clean every day. You need to stay here.

There a lot of bugs around but you’re in the jungle so that’s to be expected. Other than that everything was perfect

Loved the traditional type of architecture of the room and the tropical garden with private pool. The bathroom was out of this world nice.

The property is located at only 10min walk from Ubud center;you have a few stairs to get to it,but the staff will help you carry your baggage;it is close to everything and at the same time private enough;the pool was great,great view,peaceful sounds from the jungle can be heard day and night; BF is great also, you have a few options to chose from and the portions are quite big; the staff is nice and welcoming; i recommend it -mainly due to its location

The view is excellent and we love it so much. The place is close to the Ubud center which is convenient for eating and shopping.

Cos it’s close to the rainforest it’s a bit humid

Breakfast was very enjoyable with fresh juice and fruit. The villa was very close to Ubud central and easy to get around.

The swimming pool didn't feel overly clean.

This is a cute villa tucked away on the outskirts of Ubud township. It was a 20 minute walk to the Ubud palace, so a decent location. The villa is well presented but the outdoor toilet that could be seen from the pool did not bring us joy! A bit more privacy was needed. It had good a/c, great filtered water dispenser and all the plugs are international with USBs.

The toilet having a lack of privacy was an issue, and overall the lighting was too dark, especially in the bathroom for doing hair, make up etc. We also had serious issues with the pool, going brown or cloudy to the point we couldn’t swim for 3 of the 7 days we were there. Given we were paying for a private villa with a pool and barely got to use it this was very disappointing. While the staff were great in acknowledging the issue and offering dinners, breakfast and or taxi rides as compensation, this didn’t go close to the cost we paid and it left us feeling short changed on our honeymoon. We also did not expect the very steep and large stairs to the villa. This is not mentioned anywhere on the site. You need to be very able bodied to get in and out. Not for the faint hearted at night either!! It’s also worth noting that there is no lobby or reception at all. When you arrive it’s a construction area and the staff came out to meet us. First impressions set a tone so the lack of welcoming area, the extremely steep stairs and exposed toilet are not a great first impression.
