Bubu Mesari Ubud Villa

Beautiful spot, staff was excellent. We treated ourselves for this portion of the trip and it absolutely felt like we did.

Authentic villa just outside Ubud but easily walkable to the centre. Very modern but in traditional style. All staff were outstanding. Nothing too much trouble , particularly Komang whose smile was infectious.

We were on our honeymoon trip and I asked them a few hours before before our check in time for a honeymoon decorations and they did not disappoint!! The bed and the tub were full of flowers. I forgot the name of the boy who prepared our daily breakfast and cleaned everything but he was wonderful! He carried our luggages and was easy to talk to. We also felt really secure the whole time. The daily breakfast was also really goood.

The pool was really cold so we didn’t really swim during nighttime and early morning. The stairs that leads to the property were also steep but they helped us with our luggages

From the moment we arrived at this stunning property, we knew we were in for a treat. The location is absolutely ideal, offering both tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a serene setting, yet just a stone's throw away from local attractions and amenities, it strikes the perfect balance for a relaxing getaway. We even reviewed our itinerary just to enjoy the pool a little more. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The host was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Even provided shuttle service from the airport which is supper helpful especially if you are a first timer in Bali. Their recommendations for local activities were spot on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. Don't miss the Kecak dance which takes place every Sunday at the temple across the street.

The staff is excellent. The Villas are amazing. Service is top notch.

The steps are fairly steep.

Unusual and quiet.

The number of steps which were steep and unusually high. Configuration of lights, wanted to turn the big light off in the room but couldn’t find the switch which we realised was outside?

The access to the villa has many steep steps which wasn't mentioned anywhere. Thankfully we didn't need help moving around but had to carry our luggage uphill 25-30 steep steps as the staff didn't show up at the time of check out. The villa is quite isolated and with no staff around, it was unnerving to be there with sounds of animals and insects haunting to say the least. Also, the condition of the villa is quite run down compared to the pictures posted here, needs a lot of maintenance. There's construction happening in the same premises and it was uncomfortable to walk through rubble and labourers around. Quite disappointing honestly !
