Tors Park

Very clean, stylish and cosy apartment with all the necessary features. The lighting was spot on, wood burner a lovely feature and the bed was very comfortable. Also great views from the balcony. The shower was fantastic. Altogether a lovely place to spend a night.

Entrance into the property from the car park could’ve been signposted a bit better.

Great views and really well converted apartments - all high quality and no way you could tell it was once a hotel. Work being done on the grounds shows good upkeep too. Also the on site managers were able to provide extra logos for our fire

The apartment was absolutely stunning, views were just beautiful. The apartment felt very homely and private.

Nothing we didn't like apart from having to leave!!

The view from the ocean view rooms were incredible

The only thing that I can think to say is that the sonos sound system isn't linked to an account so you can't play your own music and have to use an aux but that is not a problem and hasn't changed the amazing experience.

Obviously fabulous location and views. We are a walking family so hiked up and down to the harbour and up and down to Lynton happily (approximately total of 1000 feet elevation). At the foot of the apartments there is a riverside path leading to National Trust woodland and Watersmeet cafe. The coastal path meets the main road opposite the entrance to Torrs Park and we walked to The Valley of The Rocks and further to the Hunters Inn in The Heddon Valley (National Trust), then ordered a taxi home. It was our first visit to North Devon and we were impressed by the large areas of unspoilt woodland, pristine and natural beaches and good network of public paths. We used the car to visit Porthlock Weir and Lorna Doone Valley, although there is a bus service, and further to Dunster Castle. Most of the adjoining apartments were unoccupied or in the process of renovation so we saw few people and all was quiet and relaxing. Absolutely every person we met was friendly and helpful, including workers at the apartments, owners at the harbourside cafes and establishments, retail assistants in Lynton, the lady taxi driver and the dog shop owner.

We are six foot and hit our head repeatedly on the extractor fan located over the kitchen island. I would have appreciated written instructions for the appliances and a more upright settee for the old bones! Food shopping in Lynton is limited.
