Great location near Derwent Water and city centre. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Wonderful breakfast.

Beautiful building in a picturesque location and the perfect start to a long walk in the hills for us! The staff were so kind and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if coming back to Keswick.

Staff are all kind, in particular, there is a male staff member who is knowledgeable about all hiking and walking routes. They provided us with a map, although we did not ask! Breakfast was great, and we could choose from the menu. We had a great active holiday.

Tasty and well served breakfast in a pleasant setting. Our room was nicely decorated and very cozy and relaxing with an enjoyable view of the mountain. The bed was large and comfortable with nice linens. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and competent.

More shelf and/or counter space in the bathroom would be appreciated.

Good location, nice room, excellent breakfast (à la carte), friendly staff.

No a/c and staff recommended not to open windows b/c of bugs but we would have died with no circulating air if we didn’t. At that price point recommend a/c or fans.
