Brisas Del Mar Roatan

Rooms were simple but nice. All of the rooms had amazing sunset views. Staff was friendly. Transportation was pricey but professional. Decent restaurant on site if you don't feel like going anywhere else to eat. Location is walkable.

I felt I was taking a gamble on this place when I booked as it comes up as a 2 star hotel on booking.com but also had great reviews here (despite being ranked 20 of 20 hotels) and on Google but was also priced double some of the nearby places. That said, it had exactly what I was looking for which was essentially a pool that overlooked the ocean, access to the beach, a good restaurant, and within walking distance to other things. So I took the gamble and here is my review: Pros - Tequila Jacks- the attached restaurant was great. Super friendly staff, good food, overall great. - guest room doors have a touch pad and you are given a code when you arrive. I really enjoyed this vs having to remember a key - Comfortable bed - Good AC - very quick walk to “town” for shopping, bars, restaurants - great breakfast (and staff) at Tequila Jack’s Cons - the rooms are basic but like basic basic. No tv, no phone (seems a little like a safety concern), not even a clock/alarm clock. There was a refrigerator- mine had an empty jug and I couldn’t tell if it was there accidentally or if they were supposed to fill it with clean water, which never happened so I’m guessing no one knows it’s there - the reception people were nice but couldn’t answer what I would consider basic/standard questions. I asked the cost of a taxi from the hotel to the airport and she had to text someone to find out. Felt like a fairly standard question she should be able to answer immediately. I asked about booking a tour and wasn’t very confident in her recommendation so ended up booking my own thing - walls are a little thin, thankfully I only had a neighbor one night - my shower door was stuck open about 6-8 inches. If you tried to force it closed, it made a horrible noise. It wasn’t the end of the world but at the same time, there is no literally no way this isn’t a known problem and something that is fixable/should have been fixed when installing the door in the first place - my toilet seemed to run all night. - the pool could have been cleaned more often. After it rained, there were a lot of dead flies floating around that should have been cleaned, especially once people started getting in the pool It was quiet when I was there which I liked but . perhaps things are run a little differently during peak times. Do I think my stay was worth the nightly rate? Jury’s still out but probably not. Would I stay here again? I could be convinced but primarily for the restaurant.

Had a great stay here for 10 days. Our first visit to Roatan. The pool side bar/restaurant is great and the dive shop onsite made diving super easy to coordinate. The West End is the place to be and Brisas is a 5 minute walk from the heart of the West End. Will definitely return.

This was a great place to spend the afternoon. We took advantage of the $20 day pass, a great deal because the cost of the day pass goes toward you tab. The food and service were great. This place is a short walk from the water taxi service if you’re visiting West End that way. We’re glad we came across Brisas Del Mar.

You will come here and never want to leave! We stayed in the condos and I almost don’t rant to write a review because I want it to be available every time I’m here. The staff are equal to a 5 star hotel. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and happy. The condo is spotless clean and has everything you need. The restaurant is delicious and staff, especially Harvey, make you feel spoiled. The pool is refreshing and perfect between or after dives. The dive shop is fantastic and professional and we had amazing dives less than 5 minutes by boat. I’ll be back for sure!!!!

This resort was clean, friendly, and affordable. The AC worked great, the suite (301) was huge with TONS of storage, coffee maker, big frig, big patio, and big view. So, so happy with this resort!!!! Restaurant on site was also very good. Staff are attentive and friendly!

We have never stayed in the West End in the six times we have been and came here last year for lunch and decided if we came back we would stay here. Best decision we ever made. Front office warm and welcoming staff.Naya was great. Room was modern luxury but simple. We were in 304 and the view from balcony is spectacular. Restaurant: Tequila Jacks, lives up to it's name. We inquired and were told the owners name is Jack and loves tequila and it's great. Wonderly, Harvey, Jerson, Alan and Aisha are great and you will enjoy talking to each of them as bartenders and high end staff. They are well versed in all things Roatan. The staff spoke very highly of Jack and the staff said Jack and Will are great owners and good to their staff. We had one small maintenance issue and it was handled immediately and efficiently. We won't be back until 2026 but this is where we stay when we return. Hats off to Jack, Will and the entire staff

I stayed here for two nights after a week in Utila and really loved it (I was actually only supposed to stay one night and ended up extending my stay for another night). The beach is small but has cozy chairs, is well kept and you can walk right into the water from your beach chair. The pool is clean and well kept (and because this is an adults-only resort - no kids!). I didn't get to experience the dive shop but did talk to some of the folks and they all seemed very nice, and their boats leave right from the dock next to the beach. Rooms were comfortable with nice A/C, comfy beds and nice, hot showers. And Tequila Jack's had entertainment both nights i was there (from 7-9pm), good drinks and good food. The only very minor negatives are that if you want to charge food/drinks from Tequila Jack's there is an extra charge (which was strange to me) and the front staff were overly busy because there was always just one person there, and in addition to their clerical duties they were also the ones in charge of bringing you to your room. But they were always nice and very accommodating. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place! Great food. Good drinks!.....nice wait staff. Excellent entertainment with imox band with Will Freidhoff and company.

At last … PARADISE found! This is one special resort that offers what you’ve been looking for in one place. Beautiful rooms, restaurant, pool and beach all together. Local musicians are featured almost everynight at Tequila Jacks’s! It’s conveniently located walking distance to all that Westend offers. Brisas del mar offers extras such as the use of the kayaks and paddle boards included in your stay. Pool and ocean lounge chairs are luxurious and the resort is kept impeccable. We enjoyed meeting new people at the floating dock. All the staff is friendly and helpful and go out of your way to make sure your stay is a memorable one. We are so grateful to have found Brisas del mar and will be back every year!
