Playa Grande by Tropical - Adults Only

First of all the rooms are very good. Very well furnished, robes etc. and the beach front is great. Clean, lots of loungers and a bar which also serves food. Five stars. But don't eat here. Service is poor. Good choice is not great and not best quality. Staff look disinterested. Argue with each other in front of customers. Eat elsewhere.

Amazing staying! Wonderful restaurant, pleasant personnel!

The property decor is stunning in rooms and throughout hotel. The beach location was serene for being so close to the city. This hotel is isolated from restaurants and stores so once you arrive without a vehicle, your only choice for food and drink is within the hotel. However, the service around the pool in the afternoon was terrible. Their beach club was open to locals as well as hotel guests and this may explain why we were ignored after arriving to the pool area. We could not even make eye contact with the one server. It was approx 30 minutes before we finally went up to ask for a drink. He made us feel like we were interrupting him and it was a bad first impression. The service from front desk staff and restaurant servers in the evening was good. This hotel is good for those who want a beautifully appointed room away from city life to relax and be left alone.

This property was amazing. Great staff. 30 min away from Barcelona by taxi. So if you are just planning for a relaxing vacation this is really good. But if you wanna explore the city this is probably not the place. Food was great but a bit expensive. Clean beach , great view. We took a room with the pool on the upper lever. Due to the drought, they said we coudnt use it, same issues with other people who booked the room with pool,they should've mentioned that in their website because we had to pay extra just because of that pool. they should have given us a voucher for an appetizer or drinks or something but nope. Thats the only thing that bothered us. But otherwise great stay.

Staff was super accommodating and let us check in a day early when our plans had fallen through due to an issue with a car rental company. Beach is beautiful and so are the rooms.

We arrived earlier, they let us enjoy the hotel facilities in Lovely Bay, nice menu and right on the beach

Paid for a pool suite and the pool was drained due to drought and no money refunded still charged fees upon check out! Then reserve a 21 and over resort to have a child’s birthday party with nothing but kids running in and out all day and night long… what a horrible last 2 days to the stay on top of no pool and roof deck pool also closed complete fraud and should have been compensated for this. The hotel also overworking there staff and is a shame because the girls were very nice and didn’t deserve that.
