We visited Barcelona from Texas and decided to stay in 3 different hotels in 3 nights. Partnered with my retired father, our first hotel was the Playa Grande. I would not recommend this place unless you are going with your gf or mistress. As you can see from one of the photos, the shower is smack in the middle of the room with no curtains and no privacy. It is like a giant display case. Couldnt use the beach because there was no place to shower. No curtains. Sauna doesnt appear to be working and couldnt find the light for the gym. Entree in the restaurant is about $35 Anyways me and dad, booked a "double room" and it turns out that it means the room has a full size bed. As I did not want to be in the same bed as dad, I asked to switch to single beds. They did not have that but offered a makeshift mini-cot as compromise. It was a very simple frame with 3 square cushions. My tailbone poked thru two of the cushions while I slept making it really uncomfortable. To make a long story short, during check out they charged me an extra $70 for the use of the cot. No price was mentioned before and $70 was really steep for the usage of something that cheap and uncomfortable. I have stayed in about 8 hotels per year for the last 10 years and I have never experienced this. We went back and forth with the hotel staff and got nowhere. Apparently when they say "double room" they actually mean full sized mattress and not double occupancy. Will not stay here again.

FROM THE MOMENT I CHECKED IN, I WAS UPGRADED ON THE ROOM! EVERY SINGLE DAY, ANY EMPLOYEE, CLEANER, OR MANAGER, OR SERVER, WENT OUR OF THEIR WAYS TO SPEAK ON POSITIVE COMMENTS AND LIGHT. THIS TRIP WAS A MIRACLE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN. LOVE AND LIGHT TO ALL, IN JOY! LOVE, NICOLE CONGER

I have only been here one night and this is the BEST AND MOST MAGICAL HOTEL EVER! I travel the world so this is saying a lot! People and property have been stunning!

It was a beautiful eco-friendly hotel. I must say, we will be back again to this hotel.

One of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in. The hotel is incredible and right on the beach. From the roof top deck with it's infinity pool, to the beautiful spa facilities on the lower floor; It was a real treat for the last night of our vacation. The staff are all incredibly helpful too and it's only a 10 minute drive from Barcelona airport. The surrounding area is really quiet, but it's only a few minutes walk to a handful of restaurants and bars; the onsite bar and restaurant looked amazing too.

Beautiful boutique hotel with everything you need! The entire property is stunning from beginning to end. The aroma that greets you in the lobby and the beautiful design through out the resort stimulates all your senses. Just what we were hoping to finish off our girl trip before returning home.
