It was close to the city centre which was necessary for our stay and the room size was convenient. We appreciated the price point of the room and felt it was a fair price. All in all not a bad stay, but we feel some definite improvements could be made.

We arrived at the hotel and had to produce our booking number as our name and details werent sufficent enough (unsure if this was an issue with the link between the hotel and booking.com) the lady on reception barely spoke to us and then handed us our keys with no enjoy your stay, any issues were here or discussions about our breakfast arrangements. While we were happy with the price of the room, we had some issues with the cleanliness, no matter the price, the room should always been clean. The room itself was quite sparse, there was pealing paint on the wall by the radiator, a toilet brush that was more brown than white and the bed sqeaked so badly you couldnt turn over without it sounding like all the screws were going to fall out. There were also some old stains on the pillow cases and sheets. We also paid £7 each for a continental breakfast which once in the room, we found a sign that said it was actually £5.99 Im not irritated by the extra £2 we paid, however I feel the breakfast fell a little flat in terms of continental, there was toast and cereal, juice and apples and oranges, the cheese was pre sliced burger cheese and some granola bars, not quite what we had in mind.

Spacious room with a good bathroom. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Limited free parking on site and free overnight parking on a nearby road.

A bit far from the city centre.

The Hotel was nice and clean. The staff lovely and very accommodating. I asked for a hairdryer and was given one straight away no problem. A short distance to town so no problem there.
