Marlborough Hotel

Large room on ground floor, seperate sitting area. Good size bathroom, good shower. Doube size bed reasobably comfortable. Friendly check- in/ staff. Parking space. 20 minute walk to town centre.

Nothing major. Room on ground floor was near receotion/ sitting area. Group of guests had a long meeting which was a bit noisy....I had to intervene at nearly 0100. Breakfast is basic but adequate but timing is the key for space.

The breakfast was dull and boring. Hotel allowed easy access into the city.

For a Continental breakfast I would expect croissants and more interesting bread, tinned fruit and some nuts or other fresh fruit than just bananas and satsumas. No good morni g from staff though very efficient in clearing and restockin g.

The breakfast was very good and value for money. Very handy location close to the train station.

The front door made quite a noise when closing. Needs a good dampener. This was passed on to staff.

Friendly staff.

Clean towels and rooms, tea tray provided

We have stayed before. Convenient to get into town and quiet at night in area outside

Very small room and tiny bathroom . Rusty towel rail. Tiolet made noise all night. Rust on shower doesn’t look nice needs a tidy up..
