EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT.I WOULD LIKE TO STAY EVERY TIME I VISIT.THE COST WAS EXCELLENT FOR THE TYPE OF HOTEL .I AM GIVING THEM A 10. I love the smell of the hotel when you enter the building.

I just had to wait a while for the room, but I rather it be clean to just saying come on, it's ready..So when they did get the room ready. it was perfect.

Avid Hotels are a new bare bones member of the IHG family. If you’re looking for a clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff at a great price you’ll find them all right here. We enjoy Avid as a budget conscious option when staying for just one night. I will say that the property is a bit tricky to access because the entrance is so very easy to miss. If you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself on the on ramp for the interstate instead. Better signage would have moved my rating from a 4 to a 5.

Staying at the Avid Hotel for a second time proved the decision my fiance and I made the first time we stayed here in Jan 2026. We decided that when we come to Tuscaloosa, this is where we'll always stay! The Avid team is professional of course but you also get warm and friendly from them as well. The location is safe, the room has been clean and comfortable, and breakfast has been fresh and nutritious. We'll recommend to friends, family, and in conversation with strangers as we travel!

Breakfast and coffee was good! I like the coziness and cleanliness of the rooms. The receptionist was very polite and professional!

Everything was perfect very clean. I really enjoyed my stay

Its just taking too long to get me security deposit back. I stayed a couple of night. Checked out and checked back in. I had to pay a $75 security deposit for both of which I haven't got back. My room was left in great condition

Rooms were clean and staff were awesome.

Maybe could use a pool but besides that great.

New property, great location. Very reasonable price.

Breakfast starts at 7:30a. I was there at 7:35a. Food was cold. Would like to have had waffles. Hair was on one of my pillows, stain on sheet. I didn’t like being on the first floor. You hear movement/sound all night long.

We were on a road trip and decided to pull of at this exit because the property looked so nice. Many other named hotels were around but this one just looked the nicest so we decided to try it. And it turned out to be one of the best overnight stays we’ve ever had.

Can’t say anything at all bad about this property.

Excellent hotel! Great location right off the interstate. The beds were comfy with the softest sheets!!!
