"Short but sweet visit"

We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Stillman. Everything was very nice. The agents at the front desk were most helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked with what was needed. The breakfast the next morning was great. Per my husband the only thing missing waffles. The next time I go to Tuscaloosa, I will definitely stay there again.

"Exceeded Expectations"

Location is very good. Getting there is a little confusing at first as the frontage road is not well marked and looks like part of another hotel's parking lot. We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. I was always thanked for being a Club Member. The front desk staff were professional and personable! And you didn't have to wait on them to come out from their hiding spot. The hotel was spotless! I was immediately impressed by the modern decor without being harsh and unwelcoming. However, something was sprayed in the hallway after breakfast by housekeeping that caused me to have a pretty severe allergic reaction. Our room was VERY small. However, it was spotless! The bed was very comfortable! The walk in shower was wonderful! We could not hear the interstate from our 1st floor room at all but we could hearing guests walking above us. I have Celiac disease and found the breakfast offerings to be very Celiac safe! For someone who needs to be gluten free to stay healthy this is HUGE! THANK YOU IHG! The breakfast attendant kept the breakfast areas stocked, very clean, and things were replenished regularly. The coffee roast is a little weak if you like a bold coffee. For an overnight business trip, Avid exceeded my expectations! Kudos to management and staff on a job well done! (Just stop spraying that "stuff" in the hallway. Ok?)

"I would definitely stay again"

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I was there to move my son out of his University of Alabama dorm. The room was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and the staff was very friendly.
