Everything was great, except they charge a $75 incidental fee. Which effectively nearly doubles the cost. Yes, you get it back after you check out, but it is several days before it is returned. I was there on business and that still comes out of my expense budget for all those days. It isn't even like they have a bar or restaurant where you could run up a tab. I stay in hotels for about 6 months out of the year... if every hotel took $75 extra for incidentals, that is almost $500 extra a week. I don't think I will stay there again.

We had a great experience. Room was spacious, clean, and equipped. Was a quiet night which is what we needed. Will book with them again.

Manager James and his staff were extremely friendly. Upon walked in the hotel door my family and I were greeted with fresh and clean smell alone with a heartfelt welcome from the front desk staff member. We stopped here on a trip to New Orleans. The nightly rate couldn't be beat. First off, hotel surroundings were very clean and inviting. Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was very helpful in regard to local places to eat. The room was very comfortable and clean and was just perfect for our one night stay. This hotel is right next to the highway and shares a large area with a LaQuinta and a Comfort Suites. Depending on the direction you are coming from, it might involve a U-Turn to get to them but that isn't a big deal. We did have a room that faced the highway. If you can't sleep due to traffic noise, I would suggest requesting a room away from the highway. We were very tired and I can sleep without it being super quiet so just be aware. The only overall disappointment was breakfast. It was just not great in regard to flavor and offerings. The scrambled eggs ( powder version) were watery and the sausage offered just didn't have much taste. I don't pick hotels based on breakfast though, I pick based on cleanliness. So, this hotel gets my definite seal of approval. I would absolutely stay here again.
