The Cottages at Golden Village Palms RV Resort

The air conditioning unit was not working the maintenance person came out and changed the batteries and said it was working however I took pictures to show them and they said to call you guys to see if we could get a refund. We went to this location because my father is dying and this location is close to his home

NO NO NO! Spent many seasons in this park as an RVer, but not anymore. We stayed in a cottage home for the weekend at 149 a night. At check in, they were nice enough, but someone should use deoderant. But I believe that is their nationality. The cottage was old but had been refurbished, except they didn't paint the walls. We had dirty linens left in the room, a bed you rolled into the center with a plastic cover on the mattress, dirty fawcets in the kitchen and no internet. The resort takes no responsibility for the internet, so I was told to call the IT dept of the company. They told me the whole place was down and they would look into it. 24 hours later, still no internet. The pool and surrounding areas were ladened with dirty patio furniture and a family group, none of which were 55 plus, had taken over the area with pop up shades, food and whatever else they brought. It was loud, rambunctious and another part of their group had taken over the pool table room. Still saw no one over 55. I am not sure what Sunland resorts expects, but I am sure this is not what they would want to see in their resorts. Will not stay here again.

The property was nice. Very quiet. The only thing was the cottage was semi infested with ants, especially the bed. So that made sleeping a bit difficult.

Everything is great here with the exception of one employee which we hope will be corrected before our next visit.
