The Cottages at Golden Village Palms RV Resort

Very nice rv resort. We do not participate in most activities or sports facilities available but appreciate the options available. Wish this park was closer to a location like Carlsbad as California freeway traffic is becoming very wild.. :) and we like the beaches! The other park in the chain at Escondido is ideally located but tiny sites, expensive, and poor facilities..so Golden Village Palms it is!! Sites are spacious and reasonably private. Very well kept rv park

I’m so happy I found this gem! I needed a quiet, comfortable and economical place to do taxes — with no distractions or interruptions — and this was perfect!! The staff we very professional, friendly and helpful. The cottage was well-equipped and clean — the only issue was the outside patio table — pretty dirty, but a quick clean fixed it up. Other than that, perfect. I will definitely be back!

I would give this place 5 star except for the overpricing. Just to park our rv it cost $177 a night! Yes, we had a nice spot close to the club house, but that price is outrageous. I will say that the place is very nice. Clean, wonderful pools (nice and warm and one has dedicated water volleyball 90 minutes every day, which we personally loved). Cable tv (with lots of channels) and the internet worked well. It has the best gym I’ve ever used at an rv park. That is probably because this place is huge (1060 sites) and many are full time park models that are actually kept up very nice. Nice, clean showers. They just need to readjust their prices, which I hear have gone up a lot this past year. There are a lot of empty sites because of the $$$$$.

Unlike many folks at this resort, we normally go up there for only a few days. Even that close to the main drag in Hemet, we have found it to be a peaceful, quiet place. The staff and long-term residents are very friendly and upon check-in, I was even invited to an evening poker game in the activity room. We love this place and it's only about a half-hour drive from where we live, but yet seems like a world away.

They advertised free WIFI but I was never able to hook up.Their solution was to call the Provider which I did but they were unable to help either. I believe there is not an antenna anywhere near this cottage. Some can get connected easily and others like me were not able to. Also the cottage could have been cleaner. I paid a lot for a week here but did not feel I got my money’s worth.

It’s been over 5 years since I last stayed at this resort and I’m truly impressed with the improvements. The resort improvements to space sites is outstanding and the resort staff is wonderful. Definitely one of the better RV resorts in Southern California.

The cottage size was perfect for a weekend getaway with your significant other. Small and cozy.

Juan at Sunland went out of his way for us…broke my foot and he found me a way to make it to the event…amazing staff including Lanie who worked hard to make it all possible and ensured we had all we needed

This resort is in a big need of cleaning and restoration. The bathrooms/showers are very dirty. There is white soap scum covering the shower's walls. Most of the shower stalls don't work properly. The gym is filthy and the equipment needs maintenance. It's a great location
