The Baylis Boutique Apartments

I was travelling for work and liked the place so much I stayed again when I passed back through town. Joseph is a great host and even made a great dinner suggestion close by. Would definitely return if I come by this way again

The location is great as it is located on the main street near all the bars and cafes.

Parking was tight for a large vehicle, over the weekend it could get a little noisy due to being located on the main street.

Close to centre of town. Quick walk to get a bite to eat. Clean friendly and homely.

Property was clean tidy and comfortable with everything you need.

Spacious comfortable living area, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds

Located on the main high street above shops, there was a lot of street noise on Friday night - loud cars, loud music, peole shouting etc). Obviously the owner cannot control.this but it certainly affected our stay. (much quieter on Saturday night). Took rubbish out to the bins as directed to find them locked - had to walk around the street looking for a bin. No toilet roll when we arrived but luckily there was a chemist right downstairs

Comfortable beds and nice amount of space

No soundproofing and street lights shine into bedrooms. We could hear the conversations in the other apartment

Great layout and size we all enjoyed it

The inside was roomy and homely.Beds comfy a quiet room for a shop front upstairs.

Trying to find the entry to the parking was off a back lane and you have to walk around the block to find the front single entry door.As well we were told there were a few steps and sugested it was good exercise for our butts. NOT HAPPY WITH THAT COMMENT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS.The steep staircase and the amount of stairs to get to your door were gruling for 2 females 1middle aged 1 elderly.The exhaust fan in the bathroom was clogged up with thick dust ,rotting door frame near shower and behind bathroom door uneven floor tiles in shower leaving a cut on my foot.No shampoo that I could find or conditioner.Leaving was hard to manage the luggage down steep stairs but overall give them a try as long as you are fit just so confusing trying to find the entry good luck.
