I really liked the location, the apartment was perfect

I liked everything. I found everything that was in the ad.

Ideal location, right in the heart of the old town, but quiet enough for a peaceful sleep. Lovely, Modern decor, with everything you need for self catering, a bottle of water in the fridge, coffee pods, teabags, sugar on our arrival and even a first aid box. Comfortable clean bed. Felt very safe and secure (there was also a mini safe available). Great communication 👌 Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. Lovely apartment.

Very well appointed apartment. The apartment is situated on a shopping street so not at all noisy on an evening. It was a very short walk to the square at the harbour taking only 2 or three minutes. The apartment itself was actually better than the photographs, the kitchen and bedroom were quite small but plenty of room for two people. It had air-conditioning in both rooms if required. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need for meals if required. It also had a coffee machine with lots of pods to use. The apartment appeared to be very recently refurbished so it was a pleasure to stay there. There was just sufficient room on the balcony to enjoy breakfast and a glass of wine whilst people watching in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and with the louvred doors closed over the glazed ones it was kept nice and dark. We received a lot of communication from the team that run the apartment, both before arriving and during our stay. My wife and I would like to thank Eva , part of the reservations team for that.

If any complaints it has to be the usual with any self catering apartment, the issue of no towels or cleaning during our stay. This however seems to be standard wherever we have used self catering. Some places have been exceptional though, and cleaned everyday. This happened in Argostoli, Kefalonia ,last year at the Fideas rooms. There we also received a complimentary breakfast given in the restaurant downstairs. There is only one other issue, if you look at the photographs of the kitchen, in particular the cupboards, you will find they are quite high. I'm only 8 foot five inches and I really needed to be at least 9 foot six. Yes, I'm joking, there is nothing in the taller units. It's all contained at a reasonable height

The room number 3 was meticulously furnished with great attention to detail, leaving nothing to be desired. It was equipped with all the essential amenities, including tea, coffee, a big bottle of water in the fridge, a coffee machines and coffee pods/capsules, a sandwich maker, cutlery with sharp knives, pans, pots. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom boasted an impressive shower.

Unfortunately, the room had a significant drawback – the balcony's location between the houses made it incredibly noisy. The incessant operation of the ventilation system in the opposite house for 20 hours created an unbearable noise level, rendering it impossible to sleep with the balcony door open or even to comfortably sit on the balcony. The view from the balcony was equally unappealing, offering a sight of backyard houses and dilapidated balconies. Furthermore, the inability to tilt the balcony door meant that the room could be visited by cats, which might not be desirable for everyone. A mosquito net it would be very helpful. Beside this, they are not providing daily housekeeping services during your stay neither fresh towels.

Lovely clean modern appartment with everything we needed to be comfortable for a 2 week holiday. Great location if you don't have a car, on a pedestrian street in the centre of the town. Supermarket around the corner for food shopping, 2 min walk to launderette, 5min walk to the harbour, 5 mins to bus station for day trips, hundreds of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Loads to do in the town itself- coastal walks, naval museum, shopping in medieval streets, archaeology museum, botanic gardens - the museums have english interpretation as well as greek. Outside of town local tour companies offer affordable day trips eg Knossos, Heraklion, Samaria Gorge, or you can use public buses. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony for drinks and meals and watching the world go by. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.
