Plockton Inn, by Highland Coast Hotels

Plockton is a very nice area, pretty village to walk through with stunning views.

We had high expectations due to the high price for the room, but it was a bit disappointing to be honest. Small room, small bed. Bathroom was clean but window sills, wardroom and radiator where not very clean. Rooms weren’t well insulated. Food was fine, but fairly standard. Breakfast wasn’t fully stocked when we arrived.

Plockton village is beautiful and the hotel is very easy to find.

Parking isn't great...but that comes with being in a small coastal village. Restaurant is not a seafood restaurant and is so overpriced! Tip - Don't be embarrassed to ask for the service charge to be removed from your bill. We had 3 rooms - the occupants of 2 rooms had a dreadful night, next to no sleep with the heating clattering and banging. At times the noise was loud enough to give us a start. The hotel manager was informed and kindly offered a free meal...next time we were passing! Yeah right. If we lived close by then we wouldn't have paid for B&B. As the hotel is part of a chain - I thanked her kindly for the good will gesture and asked if we might eat in one of their sister hotels - a more local one for us. No reply....and so thats that. Paid £440 for 3 rooms. 1 out of the 5 of us managed to sleep....and that is NOT what I expected.

The room was large.

Definitely not worth the money. Basic facilities, no hanging hooks in the bathroom or anywhere. Old but not charming. Staff were in a completely separate building when required.

Good location, nice bathroom

Room was very small for the cost of it, room and bathroom was very dusty and toilet not clean. Breakfast was average compared to cost,more like a budget hotel breakfast. Room we got didn't compare to pictures on line.

Easily our favorite place we have ever stayed. The town is a jewel and the inn is so cozy, the cherry on top.

Plockton is a lovely place and this hotel is right on the edge of the village. Nice room with a king-size bed, we were in the haven side. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food.

Expensive for what it is and the restaurant was very expensive.

Freshly decorated clean and friendly staff

Staff, location, decor. Food was ok.

Only 1 bedside table. Bed not a kingsize.
