Rock Hyrax Hotel

The hotel is located in a serene environment and has an amazing chilled ambience.The well lit compound has a perfect open space for star gazing at night. The overlooking Hyrax Hill was quite refreshing, and the chirping of birds equally soothing. The staff were very welcoming and courteous and loved their well presented meals. The cosy beds are worth every penny and night. They allowed late checkout and greatly loved the experience. The host madam Mercy was superb and clearly understood what delighting clients meant.. Noted that they have very modern conference facilities. I will be back..😊

Simply Amazing. Ms. Mercy, who is the owner of the Facility, she personally drove down from Nairobi to meet us. Had a great conversation with her. It's a new Hotel, very well maintained. Small but one of the best hotels I ever stayed, even when compared to the likes of Europe and the US. We had our dinner at the hotel and the cheff and restaurant staffs were amazing. While leaving for Safari the next day after we checked out, we forgot the Kettle in the room and given that our baby was with us and I will have a hard time finding a new kettle outside the city, she arranged a conveyence to deliver the kettle to us in the Park. For the next day, the Hotel Staff prepared a hearty breakfast for us all,especially keeping the kids in mind. Would definitely recommend Rock Hyrax to anyone who plans to visit Nakuru.

Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is superb, very delicious, everything I ate was outstanding 😋 👌. The hotels is very beautiful also.

The owner needs to consider installing ACs. Nakuru has changed, the hot season is seriously hot. So AC in the rooms is a must. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Despite the late arrival time, our expectations were still met. The hostess was more than willing to fulfill our wishes. The stay was neat and equipped with the necessary facilities. An extra compliment for the cook. The food was exquisite.

Via google maps it was a bit difficult to find the right location. A few hundred meters away to the residence was in a pitiful state.
